Sat 16th Feb
Sun 17th Feb
Sat 23rd Feb

JBT,
What about 2nd Feb? So far nobody has objected to that date and there's a chance we could get Barbz too.
Being realistic about this, even if I find a date where everyone who expressed an interest can make it there will only be a max of 14 people (including JBT & Barbz), currently we are on 7 confirmed + DaveG by assumption = 8.
I appreciate wanting more people to attend, however it'd be good if you could come along too.

Car's in bits at the moment, I wouldn't like to promise I can be there, my comment including the royal "we"was more a tongue in cheek comment referring to Kenno's zero reading with his RWD car if he drove on with it set up for FWD cars. I will try to get there to watch if nothing else.

EDIT:- updated information.
I have confirmed the booking with
Surrey Rolling Road for Saturday 2nd February to start at
10am and we can sort out the final numbers in the coming weeks.
So for
Saturday 2nd February at 10am so far we have:

2) Tim42
3) Jame5
4) Begbie
5) Nick_d
6) Gunzi
7) Kenno
8) Barbz
9) Fred (Gunzi's mate)
10) Mario
11) Marco (!)
12) Sean_C
DaveG, Biggenz, KJ16v and Deme may come along but not run.
Charlie has asked for no money up front, I'll let people know if he does.

The location is

An EGO massaging 2.2bar to get past me,
but turned down for the road, Déjà vu
.
526hp @ 1.8bar, in 4th gear in my case and nothing to be turned down for the road.
AMD weren't expecting those figures that day. After the session they came running out with camera's for pictures for their 'Hall of Fame table'

Barbz you better take that '2 BAR Club' out of your signature. You KNOW it's only me who is truly in the 2bar club, and even the 2.15bar club.
If you really wanted to play the max bhp with max boost game you should have gone for 4.5:1 CR and 1000+bhp club

Is he seriously taking it to Audi! I hope he has a warranty then. He should take it the MRC, AMD Essex or get a 517 trans from over the pond!

Pretty sure it's under warranty. If not, he might be eating beans for the rest of 2013.

I'll meet you on a track with my mini. You know what a track is, one with some bends on it where you need to turn the steering wheel, just like this >>>
On the track, aside from any 'point and squirt' straights you'll be left smelling my 20/50, 500+ bhp or not

If not I think It would be an interesting idea for us to go on the dyno in order of what Power we "THINK" we are running..... Lowest to Highest!
What's everyone reckon??
Let's face it we're all going get our "hearts broken".... Just some more than others, depending on where they got their power figures from!!
If we like this idea then can someone rewrite the list with participants estimated power figure next to there names!!??

Kenno, it depends on when people turn up. I'm going to guess that not everyone will be there at 10am and so if it takes time to swap between RWD and FWD and only one RWD is on time then it makes sense to start with the Coupes and do the RWD and 4WD last.
Lets play it by ear on the day, if it no effort to swap between then it's less of a concern.

Surrey RR - Sat 2nd Feb at 10am - Auto Italia - 17/01/2013 13:14
Nice one Deannnnnnn!
I've spoken with Charlie who asked to run the RWD and FWD (and 4WD?) in separate groups. Charlie originally said if we start at 10am we'll be done around 2pm, so with 14 cars this is roughly 15 mins to do 1 car. Of course I'd like to have as many people there as possible and so the options are:
1) RWD run first. Kenno, Fred and Marco to all arrive at 10am. I've spoken with Fred who says realistically he can get there for between 10 - 10:30am traffic dependant as he's got a fair distance to travel. Kenno if you can get there first we can do your run, hen it's a case of waiting for Marco and Fred.
2) RWD run last, eg after 12pm. Kenno this might work better for you, as if you are with a baby you can turn up at say 12:30pm - 1pm and run within one and a half hours.
So Marco & Kenno please state your preference.

Ok Kenno I've spoken with Fred and if you go on first we'll put him on second. This means Marco has to get there for 10:45ish, which is probably not going to happen. So we'll start the Coupes straight after the 911 and if Marco shows later ask Charlie to run his last.

As Nismo has posted this is how to get there:
http://www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk/how_to_find_us.php The cost of £35 can be made by cash or card. The print outs will have power, torque, boost and AFR.
We are starting at
10am so please do not be late!
I’ll start the excuses up front, as my Coupe needs its inlet donuts changing so probably has quite a boost leak…

Just had lunch with Alessandro. He says that if Audi have managed to refit a gearbox that isn't made of chocolate to his RS6 by then, he'll come along.
Is he seriously taking it to Audi! I hope he has a warranty then. He should take it the MRC, AMD Essex or get a 517 trans from over the pond!
Oh the joys of ownership.
And here's me thinking I got away lightly with a 3k turbo replacement bill .
Can't wait for the gearbox to explode.
I hate my RS6,and would happily burn it and then spit on the ashes.

Should we bump Ian up to 4th to get all the 4wd cars out of the way?
And Pondman's Subaru.

Oh the joys of ownership.
And here's me thinking I got away lightly with a 3k turbo replacement bill .
Can't wait for the gearbox to explode.
I hate my RS6,and would happily burn it and then spit on the ashes.
Alessandro is unable to make it. The car was put back together, then it sprang an oil leak at the cooler. I am soooo glad I didn't buy an RS6.

Re: "Surrey RR - Sat 2nd Feb at 10am" - 01/02/2013 08:21
Unlikely, he's Panda hunting on Saturday morning
He was talking about what time did S.R.R. close last time we chatted, for him to tack on the end if possible? I'll confirm timings with him today, Forester Forum is down at the moment
I'm good with the slot allocated in the running order. I'll get ther as close to 10am as I can
Thanks Gunzi
