Midnight Run Surrey/London area.

This is a long shot, but would anyone be interested in doing a late night run sometime? Maybe from 22:00 onwards when the roads are quiet over a weekend.

I'm looking to go for a nice drive rather than just stopping in a carpark.

the dome would be a good place as it has a very big car park and a tea/coffee bar with food but if anyone else has any ideas then let use know . i will be doing ruffly the same route that we did on the tunnel run last time but i can allways change it at any point as i know london very well if anyone wants to see a point of intrest i can slot that in , its down to you guys where you want to go but i'll get all the main tunnels in the run

If I'm honest, I won't be doing it again through London roads/tunnels.

There's too much traffic and you don't get to really drive the car, so quiet A roads all the way!

the only way to do this again is to do it early sunday morning , when there is no traffic and you can have a good blast and keep hold of everyone , i will have to work out how to put the route on to a tomtom so we don't loose everyone and end up waiting for people to get to the next meeting point but i will arrange another london tunnel run early next year .

I think a convoy via the new Hindhead tunnel should be order

We always take to the motorways in Surrey/Kent and have loads of fun.

Bits have been ordered, so hopefully it will be going in this week.

The old bill and the local residents are already up in arms about tunnel runs through it and monitoring the cameras in the tunnel very closely. There have been a lot of idiots going through in the first few weeks since it opened.

I would wait a while until things have calmed down first.

It's not the tunnel so much, but the roundabout by the slip off that's causing the issues. Someone at work who lives near there, says that the road is pretty much covered in rubber

Not in London for me thanks. Traffic was a nightmare with the last one and I only enjoyed the drive back home once we hit the motorway.

london is a frikkin mare in terms of traffic, better to hit some suburban roads and a nice pub meet

How about High Wycombe or Maidenhead? Both easy to get to on motorways and not too far out in the sticks.

I'm up for anywhere where there's long open stretches of road.

Enjoyed Iain's tunnel run last time in spite of the weather and the fourteen tickets I got for jumping red lights trying to keep up .

Enjoyed the tunnel run. If there's another one I'm interested or even a trip to/from High Wycombe or Maidenhead. All subject to date and time.

I would prefer a tunnel run but if we're looking for a pub with a nice big carpark next to a straight road The Shire Horse Maidenhead
