Last year was in march, sundays are usually good for most so how about march 4th / 11th / 18th / 25th? Anyone got any preferences?

Any but the 18th, as I probably going the Lakes Run that weekend.

In my experience of seeing up meets, and I did set up the first Grasshopper meet if you don't set a date in your first post, you will fanny around for ever, don't give people the option, just say its on the xxth and then people can say yay or nay

That said, I will be there car dependant (well I ain't turning up in my Mundano!!)

I agree about naming the date- even then it will be like hearding cats! I'll stick my neck out (again!) and say Sunday 25th. March 2012.
Good job 18th. is not popular with us Coupe owners cos' sure as hell the Grasshopper will be popular with Mothers on Mothering Sunday!!!

Any updates on this one?

Rang them a while back and spoke to someone who said that they would call me back to confirm. I heard nothing so i emailed them a week or so ago and still haven't heard anything. Not too worried though if there is only a dozen or so of us i can't see there being a problem just showing up. They've got my details so if there was an issue i presume they would have been in contact.

Looking forward to the meet up. I took Thunderbox out of the garage for the first time since October for a blast on Sunday with the glorious weather- no defects to report (so far), so looking good for 4 weeks time.

Just got my MOT done and only advisory on air bag lights- another year to get it solved!

What time are we planning to be there for? Presumably they do an all day carvery (they always used to) so we can get there later if necessary. We are bringing Mr and Mrs T and convoying with Pondman so some concensus on time would be good. To kick off how does 12:30 sound?

Should be a good time, the F1 starts at 9am, so should be all done by 11am

Unfortunately guys I wont be able to make it as my car isn't back from the bodyshop.

A thought just occurred to me- if we want some food should we book?

When you rang them a while back Jame5, did you get any steer on this?

Last year we were very lucky to get a table for about 8 of us but some were not so lucky. Whilst a table for 20-ish would be a big demand we might get two tables of ten or something. We might have possibly left a bit late for Sunday.

I am definitely coming, my partner is 75% and we both really dont know if we are going to stay to eat. I wouldnt worry about us for now and if there are 2 seats available last minute then we might otherwise no big deal.

I might try and drop by on my way back from Croydon as my son's got a lacrosse tornament. But probably a bit too late. Shame as I know what I'd rather be doing. I'll be shouting 'come on' from the side of the pitch, but really be meaning 'get a move on'

Thunderbox, not sure if you are aware, but when I followed you yesterday after the meet, your brake lights were on constantly and when you were braking, nothing changed on the lights, only your centre rear window light came on.
