We'll be meeting at Lymm services as usual, WA13 0SP, between 8 and 8.30 am - there's a McDonalds there for those who want breakfast.

I might not be able too attend now I've found out today I've got my knee op on Friday. I'll see if I can pinch a lift.

Maybe the person who's dropped out of their op has heard bad things?

What's the score then. Do we meet up somewhere earlier and have a convoy to Tatton? If so what time and where. What time do we have to be there anyway? And do you have to stay till closing time?

Uh Oh. I'm going to cry off guys. That's way to early for me - honest, I'd never win another lie in argument in my life if I got up at 7:00 on a Sunday to go to a coop meet.
I know it sound's rubbish but Sunday is the only day I get to stay in bed till 8:30 - 9:00 as Mrs C2D can't sleep nowadays and reckons that's a lie in compared to my 6:00 weekday starts Will try and pop along and visit you all in the afternoon though

Chris, it's a meet you attend about once every 5 years ffs

Can you come along on Saturday instead? I've got us all weekend tickets, rather than mess around with Saturday and/or Sunday only tickets

Im glad we enlisted the citroen to help full out the pitch, even though it did get more attention than the coupes!

Those who put their name down for tomorrow, try and make the effort and go, there's plenty to do for the whole family aside from mooch round upwards of 1500 cars!

Thanks for attending, especially on your birthday and was good to see you as always and yes, the weather was lovely.

Nice to meet your mate too and was nice to see him help us make up the numbers on the stand

I would have liked to have gone, but sadly it was just too far this time and I also have a front garden to destroy and revamp.

Looking through Mike's pictures, I saw the thumbnail and thought it was ages since I saw a DKW, clicked on it and discovered the Audi badge.
You live and learn.

Pete - it had Audi badges on the back, i.e. the 4 rings - but I have never seen one before !

Thinking back, there were all sorts of combinations of companies leading up to the Audi name, I'm almost certain that the rear engined pre-war Auto Union racing cars carried the 4 ring badge.

The DKW had very similar styling to the car in your picture, I remember at least one version had a 2 stroke engine.

I did the same Pete. Thought what a nice car. Clicked the thumbnail and was surprised to see the Audi badges.

I'd been and had a look at that. It's an Auto Union, but that is all I can remember.
