Ordered my tickets a couple of weeks ago or more. Money has been debited from Credit Card but not received tickets yet. Have others received their tickets yet?

Lappers - you won't get your tickets until 5 days before the event .

Here's the link where you can buy tickets on line directly from Brooklands Museum until 29 April.

They are a bit cheaper bought on line and will save time at the gate on the day.

IMPORTANT! All track session drivers are required to show their driving licences at signing on.

ACTIVITY INFORMATION
Noise: drivers are requested not to make unnecessary noise, in particular at the south end of the test track that is nearest to the local residences.

TRACK SESSION
All cars are invited to pre-book to run in the track session.
Demonstrating cars will run behind fast pace car.
Cars will run in groups of similar performance.
Number of laps according to final entry numbers and time available.
Passengers for the track demos are permitted if 16 years of age or over.
Crash helmets are required for open cars, highly recommended for closed cars.

TEST HILL SESSION
All cars are invited to run in the Test Hill session.
Children passengers for test hill must be properly seated and supervised.
Crash helmets are not required.
Hillclimb session subject to ground clearance.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Access for entrants and vehicles from 08.00.
Your car/cars need to be in position in the paddock by 10.00.
On site parking available for transporters.
Brooklands is outside the London emissions zone.
Access is via Brooklands Road entrance unless otherwise advised.

It seems things are against me making this event

I was due to be off last night but then had to swap the day so I could look after Trish last week, post opp.

Then this week I realised my TAX disc had not arrived. I had a major effort getting them to send me another, they though I was trying to pull a fast one! They did send one though

So, I was going to travel down this morning straight after my last night shift. Unfortunately last night was busy as hell and coupled with the wind my hay fever is going mental too, so I've had eneugh and have come home to go to bed.

I'll set the alarm but don't count on me making it, I feel rough as a ................. (Insert appropriate metaphor).

Worst of it is I now have several days off

Fantastic day, great to see everyone. Shame the weather wasn't good all day. Some beautiful cars on display as usual.

Was good to see so many coops as always a good turn out.

Fantastic day out! It was good to put faces to names! I'm a bit gutted as Porky asked if I fancied the test hill and I declined! After watching the other coops go up I wish I had now! Next year Porky? Did anyone else do an AMG hot lap? Pretty amazing!

Like everyone else Jean and I really enjoyed the day and meeting up with new and old friends.
Thanks to JBT for diagnosing my gear shift problem and to Pondman (again) for letting me measure his bonnet etc. to ease my paranoia over my bonnet and front bumper alignment!! All roads lead back to Jason the mechanic who resprayed the front of the car and fitted the paddle clutch and b*ggered up the gear linkages!! I'm sending the lads round on Wednesday!!

Finally got some of the pictures prepared - a good turnout, plus some of the test track and hill, plus one of what must be my favourite Ferrari, the 275!













It was a bit chilly in the morning, but I still managed to catch the sun whilst stood on the hill in the afternoon.

Apparently no real damage to the airborne Ferrari - looked worse on the ground than it actually was! Very lucky guy ..... oh apart from a seat that needed cleaning!

Well I attended but have to admit I didn't see any recognisable faces everytime I popped over
