With quite a number of us heading to the Pod, i was wondering if we could get a convoy going.
I'm in SW London so will probably be going M4,M25,M1.

Yes it's this Saturday...
Best place on the M1 is Toddington services meeting around 8ish and for those coming up the M4 then probably just off junction 5 (30 secs) is a pub/restaurant called the THE MONTAGU ARMS. Could meet in the car park at about 7.15ish

For those wanting to run on the day then early is best as it will get very busy. Gates open at 8.30 and the pod is about 30 mins from Toddington services... I'll put it to the vote

Vanquish - do you fancy meeting up before some where? I see your only from Birchington, what way you travelling up, A2, M2, M25, M1?

Yeah that would be good, its now Medway Services i believe, what time you thinking on going though?? I will have my Sat Nav, because ive heard the pod is a bit out in the sticks and is hard to get to??

Vanquish - Im not 100% sure what time yet, ive got a band rehearsal the night before, so i cant see me being really bright and early. (As a side what band is your brother in law in? I take it, they are from around this kind of area? Might even know him.
May leave my house at around 7:30-8-8:30 latest i think, so will that be too early or late?

Kenno, dont think i will be able to make Toddington at 8 To be honest its a tiny bit too early for me. It would mean leaving a before 6 i would think. If you make it any later then im there! If not maybe there can be a second meet arranged there a little bit later?

it's quite quiet at 90 in 5th with no boost! Well - sort of...
I could soften all the shocks up and curl up in the footwell with a nice fluffy pillow for extra cushioning.... Oh hell - OK OK OK OK I'll drive up at your silly god aweful hour in the morning and tell the bird it's all your fault, which regardless of my incredible skill at lying and convincingly feigned distress she wont believe.;)

and I'm going to make my excuses now... my car was making some odd sounds this morning and wasn't quite reaching normal temps. I don't know if this is due to less traffic on the road..

Now - is there a shell garage on the way? If I remember rightly most of them on the M1 are BP?
