I have applied for a club stand.

You will need to apply for your tickets HERE.

Give it a while for them to add the club's name to the list. Once they have done that they will send me a password allowing each of us to get club tickets.

I will post the password on this thread once I have it.

Please add your name to the list if you are going. There needs to be a minimum of 5 cars before we gat a club stand.

I can't tell if the track is in use at all, or is it only a static display of cars?

Are we planning a club presence (minimum 5 cars) on both days? With overnight camping?

I'm pleased to say that we are now able to have a club space at this event.

Don't forget that we need to have a minimum of 5 participants to get the club space, and its on a first come first served basis, with an absolute deadline of 1st July to apply.

You can book track time and camping tickets at the same time.

I have added a copy of the email I got which explains the full booking procedure.

The Fast Car Festival is a brand new show landing Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July at Donington Park. The show will focus on cars, fun and a party atmosphere! Featuring performance fuelled action and cars from all over the world including the finest classic, performance and motorsport machinery.


BOOKING SYSTEM FOR CLUBS
We’re happy to announce club bookings are open! Individual club members can book their own tickets and vehicle passes for your stand. Please follow the following instructions...
1. Club members must go to www.thefastcarfestival.co.uk/club-info to book their tickets
2. Next, select their Club from the menu and enter the Club's Personal Password*
3. Proceed to select required tickets and place order
4. Once booked, they will receive a confirmation email as proof of payment
YOUR CLUB'S UNIQUE PASSWORD IS 166.444

We ask that you distribute this to your members in order for them to book their tickets and vehicle passes. Club space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The deadline to book club tickets is Friday 1st July, subject to space availability.


CLUB TICKET PRICES
• Club Weekend Camping Ticket £35 - includes show entry on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July, and camping on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July.
• Club Weekend Ticket £30 - includes show entry on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July.

Just booked my Club stand ticket, straightforward system. It is free for car and driver but there is a £2.00 booking fee.

You don't need to specify which day other than for track time.

I've already booked, before I seen we had a club stand. What do you think the odds are of changing tone on the stand? I'm going down the Sunday

Just book another ticket Furry, they were FOC when I applied, just £2.00 postage and admin fee.

You won't be able to park your car on the stand without one, and we need a minimum of 5 attendees to get the club stand.

A nice email from the hosting web people saying the site was going through maintenance.

The pass and ticket I have is valid for both days, so yes, so long as you display the pass in the windscreen and show the ticket you should be OK.

So who's going Saturday and who's going Sunday?

I know Furry and I are Sunday for definite. We are booked on the track at 13:20!

Is there a designated coupe section we need to head for then?

I imagine it is E9 as that's what is printed on the vehicle pass I have.

It now looks unlikely that I will be able to make it after all.

Well I'm the lonely Coupé at the show...where is everyone??

I'm at home nursing an extremely painful right knee which stops me even getting into the coupe, let alone driving it.

Well Johnny no mates is back home. The sun shone, and there was a lot of burning rubber but I got bored by 12 so I came home...there was not a lot to look at really .

I've just seen that to show your car you have to be there both the Saturday and Sunday? Anyone else planning on trying to get in just tomorrow??

Still can't get in to drive mine, so not going.

But that is a bloody silly rule, pretty well guaranteed to get them zero interest next year.

I wouldn't bother again anyway ...apart from the track and a few interesting cars there wasn't much to see ..unless you are interested in over modded cars doing a barrel race and burning lots of rubber. Mind you I did enjoy watching people doing 3 wheel trike drifting round a little circuit,,they are really quite difficult to control

Although apparently there was a lot more going on on the Sunday.

I didn't get a chance to see the show as I was too busy driving my over modded car around some barrels and burning rubber (Different classes)

Me and my mate actually really enjoyed the day.

We got there early to get on the clubstand, then went straight to the grandstand to watch some of the cars on track. The first group of cars out was a mix of some cracking supercars. The latest Lambos, Porches, Aston Martins etc giving it a good thrashing up the pit straight.

We had track time booked at 13:20, so between getting the car ready, doing the briefings and having a look round the other card, our morning flew by.

We entered the novice track session for £35 for 30 mins and was all we needed. The track wasn't overcrowded with a good mix of cars!

I'll go again next year, if not just for the cheap track time!
