Crikey Scouse- I didn't know you were rocking speed-red too!

It'll be a total freak-out to see two of them!

a nine-person / six-car turnout!

Some old faces (sorry Bernard!), and a few new ones too!

we nipped over to the BP, to make the best of a low-light lineup

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 23/10/2018 12:24

Hey Alan!

any chance we can tempt you out in November, with a more Westerly venue?

Here's an electric blue pic for you then...

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 23/10/2018 12:33

Yes I’m sure I could make it along next month
Even if it’s livingston it would be fine by me

Just don’t want to be that guy who turns up to coupe meets in everything except a coupe

Do feel buying a new one is getting closer as been busy working away and have more money in pot
Was originally looking to spend £1500-£2000

Now more like £2500-3000 so more likely to get something worth showing off!

Good turnout again
I was planning on going
Then put my bravo up for sale Monday 9am and sold it by 12 and didn’t fancy showing up in van

Going to view and hopefully buy a fiat Coupe turbo
On Monday
Fly down drive up is the plan
Only 430ish miles away

Many use photobucket or tinypic - it'll give you the option to create a link. The direct one works ok for me although apparently not for some confused

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 21/11/2018 09:32

Yes was a good drive

9 hours in total
Filling tank up in Southampton
Major rush in Southampton

Then half hour break at
Stafford and Gretna

with mostly relaxed driving and a few spots of whizzing past people

Car never missed a beat and was pleasure to drive
Was coming off a night shift so I was flagging at end

You seemed to have repetition in the link so I cleared out the stuff after "jpg"....

That's my technical explanation biglaugh

Sorted the thumbnails for you Alan but seems you've parked on the side of a hill laugh

Very very nice by the way love

See it has tiny rear reflectors (running lights?) embedded in the original location...

You’ve definitely mastered the art of uploading pictures

Will take some more when Street isn’t as busy and my van doesn’t
Try to photobomb all the pictures hehe
Posted By: dante giacosa

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 28/11/2018 10:04

STOP THE BUS!

what is going on with those rear reflectors..?

can anyone say if they've ever seen that before??!

T-reg...
Posted By: DaveG

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 28/11/2018 11:12

The n/s reflector often falls off, perhaps the heat from the exhaust melts the retaining pins, the o/s never seems to fall off. And whilst the o/s one is still available new (Partsworld) the n/s is not available, and they both appear to be unique to the Coupe. MOT test requires 2 separate reflectors at the back, but they can be pretty much anywhere (in similar positions) and there's no minimum size specified, they just have to be proper reflectors and not reflective tape.
Posted By: dante giacosa

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 28/11/2018 15:49

Thanks for that, Dave-

they look like OE running-lights...

I can't wait to see this, now...

Hey Alan- no rear wiper I see; and is that an additional gauge in your centre console..??
Posted By: Alan_K

Re: Central Scotland monthly meet - 28/11/2018 19:07

Eagle eye to spot that from pictures provided

I have a boost gauge far right next to drivers door

And the one next to centre console is a
AFM
Air fuel meter

I think I need to hire a co pilot to check all these gauges as I drive along lol

Yes no back wiper replaced with black cap so actually looks good without it and I’m used to driving a van where I can’t look out the back anyway
