Horsham Piazza italia 2019

There is new organizer, Premier GT and is now 2 days only: Friday 19th April and Monday 22nd.

Our day will be Friday and the rub is that you need to apply to take part via Facebook..

Search Horsham Piazza Italia which has a link to the application form. There is a space to enter the club's name but they are dealing with applications individually.

Applications have to be in before 28 February 2019, so be quick.

Selection is by the organisers, the club has no input unfortunately, so all we can do is apply and hope for the best.

I applied in early January but have heard nothing yet. Anybody else been accepted?

Just a notification that they had received the application immediately afterwards. Nothing since.

In previous years I have been invited to the Piazza Tour that goes through the various West Sussex villages two weeks prior to Easter to 'drum up' business for the main event. They didn't do one last year. This year, surprise surprise, Premier GT are organising it as a cavalcade of their stock supercars plus other 'invited guests' on 24/3/19. Clearly the Fiat Coupe isn't on their radar so I'll go as a spectator.


I will go to Alton Breakfast Club and thinking about Brooklands although there may be a family wedding that day so in the balance. Not forgetting Eastbourne!!

Just received confirmation for Good Friday. First group to run in with Arbaths at 9.30, meet a 9.00 so an early start!

Ditto!- just received. Not too sure where the Forum area is but at least we're booked to appear. Appreciate that it will mean an early start for those with some distance to travel but it will be good to see everyone. Hopefully all the Coupes that applied have been chosen.

The address you put on the application failed, which is why you didn't get the joining details. Perhaps it went to your junk folder?

Hi Pete, received notification email 12/2 when I registered which has all the correct contact details. Maybe when this information was transferred at their end mistake happened, always possible.

So, how was it?
Sorry I couldn’t make it I was on my way back from Madeira. Fab holiday, just sad to miss this event

It was great, the weather was absolutely stunning and although we were out the back end of Town in 'The Forum' the footfall and interest in the Coupe was evident all day. We had a fantastic lunch together, ice cream and a good chat about all things Coupe.

The celebration of Italian motoring seemed a bit of an afterthought; although well organised the car clubs were scattered on the periphery and the centre of Town was more of a commercial jamboree. Still a good day out and hopefully it will continue.

Luckily my tenner was safe for another 12 months.....Megane? Come on!?
