Conrad is still a six. Unfortunately there's only room for 1 more as Xmas weekends are totally manic and the original booking was for a max of 20.

I'LL be in Carlisle by 1800 where are people meeting and what time is dinner. Booked a hotel. Travelling by train. Don't drink and drive!

Food will probably be between 7.30 and 8.30pm - will confirm with Rob as he knows we're quite flexible with times compared to some of his other customers.

Not sure where we're meeting, but usually catch up with each other at Robs' throughout the evening.

You can sit and blether as much as you want if you want to eat later, the other parties have pre-ordered and so they're scheduled to eat at their allotted times. As long as they don't clash with your food orders, you lot can eat whenever you want. Just let the girls know when you're ready.

Weather hasn't been behaving itself up here, so fingers crossed my three pot will make it. Heading to Livingston from Inverness, Barney has kindly offered to take me to Carlisle. Only 166 miles for the start of my journey on the A9, it's not really all that bad of a road, it's the people behind the wheel that tend to make stupid/wrong dissensions & of course the road works I'm leaving early in the morning just to make sure I make it to Barneys on time. See ya all there....

The drive down & meeting fellow Coopsters again, enjoyong the craic, my Sprinty is imminent, oh! & I've a date for my hip replacement, 7th Jan' I'm waffling away here after 2 in the morning & it's a full moon if that has anything to do with things...

By the way, a mini bus would be a good idea...

Great effort from jimboy to drive from beyond Inverness to Livingston then come down with Bern - reverse journey today

Time flew, sat down for 1900 and in no time it was nearly 0000! And there are stron constitutions out there as that wasn't the end.

It brought the tally to 10 years holding this event in the current format and always a pleasure to share it with special friends

Thank you all for making the effort once again, it's humbling and a great pleasure to host this festive gathering every year.
From the Highlands of Scotland, the south of England and everywhere in between, I never underestimate the planning involved and we are all truly grateful for your participation.

A 10th anniversary in anything is no mean feat but considering my location, it can only be achieved if the good people of our coupe community are prepared to travel and a small gesture of an anniversary memento is the least I could do.

I hope you all have a safe journey home and thank you once again for making this possible.

No dramas getting to Carlisle this time for a change, but a couple on the way home, with having to sit stationary on the M6 for about 15 minutes while a car was recovered after an accident.

I had to leave early to get back for my dogs (which had been good as gold by the way), but it was worth it to see the orange and red glow over the snowy hills and mountains of Shap and past Tebay

Nice to catch up with everyone and remain quite sober for a change

I'm home in Inverness complete with my hotel room door key.... silly bugger. Thanks to everybody, lovely grub as everyone has said. I really had a great time, Barney looked after me as my carer Lovely to see everybody again.

/me and Mrs /me are home, having stopped to fix a dinosaur toy on the way home. An hour quicker and an eighth of a tank less fuel than going up - it's amazing the difference a 40mph head wind and the weather that comes with it makes
