Re: Potential Mini Meet Scotland Sun 17th Stoneha - 14/09/2006 12:46

We will need to know where we are meeting up by Friday evening as dear old mum has no internet access and where she lives I doubt there will be a kind neighbour within range who has an open wi-fi to "borrow" with the laptop.

Guys,

Lets try and firm this up.

Can you use the car park at Dunottar Castle without paying? (Not that Im being tight - just that there is no point in paying if we are just going to use the car park)..

What time is good for people 2pm?

Let me know

MrF - I can PM you my mobile number that way if anything changes (ie weather etc) I can let you know

Re: Potential Mini Meet Scotland Sun 17th Stoneha - 14/09/2006 21:13

You can use the carpark, yes. However, it isn't very big and with it being a Sunday afternoon might be fairly busy. Might be good as an initial meeting place though then everyone will find it easily.

If it's a nice day, I'd suggest sitting down the harbour for a drink (and bit to eat if anyone fancies it).

Re: Potential Mini Meet Scotland Sun 17th Stoneha - 14/09/2006 21:16

The car park down in Stonehaven might be a better bet, or on the Seafront as there is loads of parking?

I'm going to use this as an exscuse to get out of packing for a few hours, so I should be there

Nope - all welcome

PM sent Tartandude with the info required. MattB`s suggestion about grub sounds good so meeting where we can have a pint and some food will be cool. Any suggestions from the Stonehaven massive.

How about the Ship Inn on the harbour front, looks good food, tables outside too if by some slim chance the sun decides to shine.

It's a good little pub, and the food is pretty good, sounds ideal

You won't get parked near the pub though,

Re: Potential Mini Meet Scotland Sun 17th Stoneha - 15/09/2006 01:13

Just tell me where to park and we will be there for lunch for around 1pm if thats ok with everyone, reason 1pm is MrsF will not want to miss her seafood lunch.

Hey guys,
Nice to meet you all yesterday and my appologies for the local BizzyBoddyz.

Really enjoyed the 'photo session' with some brilliant examples of the Coupé. I'm a secret Coupé fan as i nearly bought one a few years back.

Anyways I hope you didn't mind a 'stable mate (Alfa GTA)' joining in the fun. I was boring a couple of mates later on that day looking at the pictures. They all agreed the cars are great.

PM-ed Si as well. He's annoyed he missed it. We could have had a mini Italian day if he'd turned up with his GTA.

Thanks again.

I will burn off the dvds and get them posted tomorrow for those who asked, there are all the piccies for the day in JPEG and CR2 format. CR2 is the Canon raw format for best quality. I will include a freeware file viewer for these in case folks don`t have one to hand.
