South Wales Meet.Sun 7th Jan.Mumbles/Gower/Swansea

Hi all.

At the request of one or two S.Wales forum, users....how about a South Wales meet over the festive period.

Obviously there is a shortness of time, but c'mon guys. How about a nice meet over this festive period....provided we can get our doors open and handbrakes off

time is quickly running out, if we are going to do this then it has to be arranged today!!

I propose some time after Christmas Day, but before New Year.

how does the 29th sound?

I'll be in Swansea for a few days between Xmas and New Year so should be able to make it. If it's the 29th (Friday?) the morning would be best for me.

Friday 29th Morning also good for me. Work at 4pm (Grrr).

How about a run around the Gower?

i should be able to make it, have to check when im back in work though. dont really know the gower, but the missus has bought me a satnav for xmas.... no doubt it will be telling me to take right turns off bridges and to do u-turns on one way streets

I know enough of the Gower not to get lost to the point we may have to eat each other.

I,m ok at the moment for the gower meet, how about the big carpark in braclet bay,out side the Castlemare restaurant,be good to meet the gang again.

Excellent choice of meeting place.

where exactly is the meeting point as all i know in swansea is the kingsway and the big tesco as well as my ex's houses!

The big tesco on the waterfront?

If you keep going on Oystermouth Road past the Big Tesco on your right and the County Hall on your right towards Mumbles.

Enter Mumbles and just don't turn off, you'll drive straight through. After Mumbles, you round the point of the headland and the car park is pretty much first left.

If you get lost, phone me and I'll come and rescue you.

Just to let you guys from the East know, be careful for the Speed Camera in the 50 Zone of the M4 after Port Talbot.

the speed camera above is on the elevated section of the motorway just after the slip road ONTO the M4 at junction 41. there's a few on mumbles road as you head toward the meeting point too

SA3 4JT is the postcode of the Castellamare Restaurant in Bracelet bay, so in the big car park opposite there.
