Anglia Meet Sunday 30th March

I think its that time of year again that we had one any ideas which direction to drive, and where to eat. Also what sort of dates? needs to be a Sunday i think?
Who's up for it?
I think there are some new coupe owners in the area so it would be good to get every one together again.

I would be but just sold my coupe !!!! It depends on whether i get one between now and the meet!!! I wholey intend to so watch this space.
I think Jon (Boonman) would be interested, he's just bought a porto, so imagine he'll be along soon

Without hijacking this thread too much can I also point all the Anglia guys at the Manningtree Car Show Thread (Manningtree is in North Essex )

I would suggest the Swan pub at Hoxne, in North Suffolk. Nice 15th century pub and all the that, and big car park and they're used to various other occasional small car meets. Only trouble is it's my local so not much of an outing for me.

Most Sundays are fine with me. My friends also just got a 16vt so I'll drag him along as well.

I might come to this. So long as its not too far from colchester.

3)country back roads( twist and bends and hold ups from other traffic)

meet ipswich way again which is fairly central. Date wise how about the 23rd or 30th. This will give me enough time to buy and fit new paddle clutch, so i can get full power

starting Ipswich at Asda/Mc Ds its the A1156 known as Bury /norwich rd first exit off the A14 into ipswich comming from Bury St edmunds direction

All meet have a chat..admire how shiney mine is(if its not raining)

head off along the A14(fast dual carrage) cambridge way and meet M11/A11 head towards Norwich(fast dual carrage)

mayby break at thetford(if we dare)

then back onto Norwich onto the A47

then we could either head to ipswich down the A140(slow boring)
or Bungay to Halesworth down onto the A12(twisty and fun)down towards woodbridge and back to ipswich

let me know what you all think

the first rout finnshing down the A140 is about 120miles the second is about 150

sounds good mate, now we need to confirm a date.

Could be on for easter Sunday. Route sounds OK, not least because side roads in Suffolk are supposed to be 50 mph and a lot of people do that, so limiting the potential for taking my 20v to its top speed of 175 mph.

well if we meet up at around 10 at ipswich area then travel towards your way you can pick some where, im sure Frary will be along shortly to sort out routing as he gets around abit.

Me and DaveG will be meeting near Colchester and travelling up to Ipswich. It's only about 15/20mins from Marsk Tey.

gearbox should be done by middle next week with new paddle clutch fitted its turned out an expensive month, but i am going to be a Dad, had our firdt scan on Monday and it was amazing.

There is one of me hanging out of the window and shouting, the reason for that is i shot of at one point near the end and hit 160mph and my window wiper decided to rip it self from the screen.
