Re: FAO everyone! - 06/04/2006 23:56

is there any preference to any clubs? diferent places have diferent dress codes in liverpool, for example, society (my favorite club), you need to be in casual dress, no shirts etc, concert square, funny about trainers, matthew street, depends on what bar you go to
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: FAO everyone! - 07/04/2006 02:25

O'neils is good on a Friday if you like Irish bars and live music. No live music there on a Saturday though, I think. You usually can't go wrong with Concert square or Mathew St areas.

Just for fun - some Liverpool web cams for those who maybe haven't been before:

Re: FAO everyone! - 07/04/2006 04:53

I reckon just go in casual smart and no trainers as means you get in most places then, IE jeans only if very good like
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: FAO everyone! - 07/04/2006 04:59

my typical going out way to Dress would be, pair of nice fitting jeans, not too baggy, not too tight, tshirt, a jacket or fitted (maybe sleveless) hooded top, dunlops or converse all star pumps and my special earings
Posted By: pinin_prestatyn

Re: FAO everyone! - 07/04/2006 05:02

For this type of event I'd probably go a bit casual. So crotchless leather pants, Steel toe capped rigger boots, String vest with peephole for nipples. Probably accesorized with a flat cap and whip.

Re: FAO everyone! - 07/04/2006 15:22

OK, so now you bunch of t@rts have decided what you're wearing, have you set a date?????

And Pinin, I've told you before, flat cap is soooooooo last season.....

I dunno where you heard that, but once I passed 23, I found toyboys were much better. More eager to please, more stamina, more impressionable and easier to manipulate!!
.......And anyway, older men don't have to wear last years headgear

Re: FAO everyone! - 08/04/2006 20:03

Not been to Liverpool on a night out before - what are the clubs like - ie. what music and what kind of people go (obviously different clubs attract a different umm, clientelle lol) ?
Posted By: came2dance

Re: FAO everyone! - 09/04/2006 00:27

If you're into dance music try Chibuku at the Barfly on a Saturday,it's on most Saturdays and features a host of dance acts and groups. Avoid clubs like Nation!!

If you're into soul and motown try Heebie Jeebies on Seel Street, free to get in and good mixed crowd. Also Lago for similar music and very cheap drinks, though it's usually rammed and mainly students.

Or you might wanna try some of the bars........Bar Hannah on Hardman Street, hip hop/funk on Saturdays, good atmosphere and open till 2am. Further up that street try Bumper Bar for a real mixed bag of music, very cool crowd or Magnet over the road, usually funk!

For complete cheese and scally crowd try Mathew Street, the usual bars like Flares etc.

Concert square has trendy bars playing house music and R & B.Quite expensive though and I would say not as good.

Personally I would say Hardman Street bars and Heebie Jeebies/Lago.

Have Fun!
