any of you guys got plans to go down pod anytime soon as weekley rwyb started last week, me and my mate ollie in his coupe are up for it.

any time, be good for a few of us to go,me and ollie go up all the time in the hope of seeing some coupes but hardly ever see any up there,be good if loads of us went on a fairly quite day and all have a quarter mile shootout or something

what about this sunday,but only one problem for me I never been there before,where do you live mate?

leicestershire,santa pod is near northampton, wana get as many coupes as pos to go up at some point,last time i had 7-8 runs and was watching in stands most of the day,that was on a fairly quite day though

Launching a coupe is so much more difficult than any other fwd i have had.

we will be there roughly 9 am, pod is kettering way near nothampton, rwyb are great days out, surely more coupes can make it come on guys

hi guys ,do i have to have helmet to go for drag racing :?because i havent got one °(and do i have to buy ticket advance?

yeah its the last one on sunday 1st then theres a week or two before the next rwyb, you only need a helmet if your car can run over 110mph crossing the line, u need a v fast car to do that.

Really? The drag strips i've been to before have required helmets for all classes of car. This surprises me.
I'm hoping to get down to santa pod sometime this year, but cant make it any time soon

yeah thats true at pod, they have the guys at the line and if you ran over 110 terminal they will radio down on your next run you would need to get ur head gear on. If you look on any pod vids not sure how clear the ones above are, if the cars running under 110 terminal nobody will have a helmet on

Sound enough. I thought health and safety would have got involved, like they do with everything else, and make everyone wear them

i was there i didnt see any coupe my best time was 14.1 i was disopointed,i couldnt get any grip from start it was wheel spining :mad:but it was great,there was a lot of type R s, and seat cupras,and there was a girl she was riding a motorbike her best time was 9 something second and 160MPH
