Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 22/12/2009 14:04

what's the setup here, how do we book and how many cars can we take?
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 22/12/2009 14:34

we normally meet somewhere close dan so we can convoy in together and so be parked together. porkpaul will have booked the club in already i expect.

as for how many cars, do you mean you personally or us as a group? if it's the group then there were 16 of us last time and i think we've had as many as mid 20's? last summer - be nice to meet anyway, coupe owners at least have something nice to look at!

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 06/01/2010 13:31

Remember, all those that turn up will be featured in an 'exclusive' meet video.

A must for any coop owner.....

- Impress your lady friends with the video (a sure fire method to turn on the LADIES)
- Look to see what 'YOUR' car would look like on film
- Bore all your friends when you email them the link on YouTube
- Bonus points will be awarded to anyone that has the gumption to actually be seen in person or EVEN heard to talk in the movie
- Let everyone see just how scruffily you really dress yourself - a must!
- Solidify your love to coops and record the exact moment in time you made the effort to meet fellow FCCUK members
- Hear how your engine sounds to others - We are going to record a 'Growl off' - Most beefy sounding car wins a special prize** Rev your engine and act like a child!
- Plus, much much more smile

**Also an award for the chaviest sounding car (booby prize - no, you will not win boobies)

so long as the snow clears a bit by then smile

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 06/01/2010 19:02

There's more snow forecast for the Midlands on Sunday, freezing temps are continuing, where I live it's a no go for cars on the roads (unless you live on a main road) and it isn't going to improve. Not looking good.
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 06/01/2010 20:40

Well I live just round the corner on the RAF base, at the moment the road to the museum is fine.
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 06/01/2010 20:44

unless things go much worse, i'll be there - the roads are good all the way apart from at the bell laugh
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 06/01/2010 21:48

Ah, it's not looking good, snow I can deal with, Ice I can deal with. The coop however - still running those racing slicks from the last meet and she aint liking this weather as much frown

Patch - suggest you save the video for a better turn out? And a time when peoples cars may be slightly cleaner!
I want my exhaust to be in that rev off! (Probably bloomin win chavviest sound knowing my luck frown )

Oooooh now HOW tempted am I to try and come along and have a go at this?! love The note above does not specifically mention Coops tongue

Alas it may all be in vain however, as we're meant to be going away this weekend frown

Re: RAF Cosford January 10th 2010 - 07/01/2010 18:12

Can I take part in a growl off? tongue

No point going away Lucifer, the roads are terrible you'll never get anywhere.

However the little back road to the Cosford museum is clear all the way from the A41. laugh

Darn & blast - though looking at the forecast, not such a bad decision really.

Never mind, looking forward to the 7th then. I actually haven't been out in the car for over a week now anyway - better safe than sorry.

'Growl off' temporarily suspended then, get to work on those exhausts guy's smile Mines sounding very meaty at the moment ... mwahahahahahaha
