Have received this...

Bexhill 100 Motoring Club

On Sunday 12th April, Easter Day, we hold an Easter Bonnet display on the seafront where club members decorate themselves and their cars in an Easter theme on De La Warr Parade on Bexhill seafront near the Old Bathing Station café and everyone is welcome.

On Sunday 31st May, Saturday 27th June and Sunday 26th July we hold similar events at the same location. These are not shows, just displays of cars where car enthusiasts meet up from 9.30 a.m. to talk about their cars to any one walking by. We find that a lot of people are very interested in seeing cars which they might have previously owned. The post code for this venue is TN40 1LB.

On Bank Holiday Monday 31st August we hold our annual Classic & Custom Car show from 10 a.m. at The Polegrove Park, Brockley Road, Bexhill, TN39 3HA which has been running for fifteen years at this venue and is very popular. In the past we have had in the region of 500 classic cars on display and up to 5,000 general public. To enter a car into the show the fee is £5 in advance. Admission price for public is £5 and free for children. All donations are made to local charities. Gates open at 10 a.m. to the public. Application forms are available from our website, www.bexhill100mc.co.uk.

If any of your members would like to come to our Classic Car show in August and display their cars, we would suggest that they pre-book in a block package so that they can all park together, as we allow a certain amount of space for each club or car make for those booked in advance, but if others arrive on the day without booking in advance then there is no space left for them to park with their club members.

On the evening of Saturday 31st October we hold a display of cars at the Old Bathing Station where our club members and their cars are decorated for Halloween.

If you could let your members know of these events then they would be very welcome to attend.

Regards.

Noticed this advertised yesterday. Might consider popping along April 12th. It might be a good replacement for Horsham show.

The latest from Bexhill...

It is with regret that we have to advise you that unfortunately the Committee of the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club have decided that the Bank Holiday show at the Polegrove in Bexhill on Monday 31st August has been cancelled, due to the Corona virus and social distancing. We are very disappointed at having to make this decision but we are sure that you will understand.

Refunds of any pre-booked entries will be made.

We have also cancelled all of our seafront displays on the last Sunday of the month during May, June and July.
