I would think a Sharpe stick will damage. I would try a mould and mildew remover. HG mould spray works wonders. You can see it dissolve in front of your eyes. Do one area at a time and rinse very well. May need to agitate but I would use a soft bristle brush. Never thought of that, I use it round the house with mixed results, works well on black mould but not on the yellowing you get on grout. Is it ok on the paintwork?
