has anyone used a D2 or K-sport brake kit with a 286mm disc on a 20VT or 16VT?

I'm looking for something to stop my Coupe, but I'd like it to fit a 15" rim.

Any comparisons to the stock 305 Brembos? Or comparison stock brembo vs stock 284mm from 16VT?

Just curious, but would you want to run a 15" wheel when all the turbos came with a 16" wheel?

A 15 inch wheel on a 20VT coupe with break traction easily, even in standard tune

If your concern is standard Brembo performance, the answer is fit a good pad (ZFC Z rated for example) with a higher boiling point temperatures fluid , and it will be more than enough to stop the car in a track environment

Cheers Jamie

we don't understand each other...
My Coupe has 800HP, I have 330mm discs with a large Brembo from AR159, I have a larger 25mm brake pump instead of the original 22mm.

I need to switch to a 15 tire, which will provide more traction... Slick. I mainly drive the car on the 1/4 mile, not in corners.

I have heard opinions that the brakes from the 20VT (305 with brembo) are weaker than the 284mm from the 16VT with a single-piston caliper.

Ah ok, lost in translation

Anyway I guess the first problem is finding a 15 inch wheel that will fit over those calipers due to where offset etc.

But…. With the brake caliper you have you could fit a a track pad that will have a far higher mu in terms of friction and put your face in the the windscreen quite easily

Cheers Jamie
