Marcel769 OP Newbie M Joined: May 2025 Posts: 7 Deutschland/Fehmarn	Hello I have a problem with my 20VT that it suddenly runs extremely rich at high revs (6000 RPM) with boost pressure of 1.7 bar. The standard air mass meter is still installed. Could this be related to that? If I reduce the boost pressure the problem is no longer there...

Jamiepm Club member 1989, Area rep East Midlands My job on the forum Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 1,290 Drakelow	I think that once you reach the maximum air flow of the MAF at a certain rpm, the car only uses lambda values to control afr..generally the car will use safe values in order to avoid detonating on the pistons It is possible to use a larger MAF to allow for this situation, but it has to be remapped for this to work, you can’t just plug another one in Cheers Jamie She's alive, again
