I need an exhaust soonish as the current one is almost shot. Clocked this on ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-Rear-S...=item1a1e495178

Any comments? Much cheaper than a s/s that was going to be my first and I assumed only choice. Famous manufacturer etc etc

They don't fit properly, I've had issues with the way it routes as it hits the subframe, also had to argue with them for a refund.

16v N/A new from Europe.

The IMASAF stuff is very good for a mild steel exhaust. I seem to get 5-6 years out of mine and mine does a lot of not very long journeys which is not great for exhausts. Some say that they are the OEM for the coupe but I have not found and confirmation.

Thanks gents for your opinions. Including P&P that brings it in at c £270 for a mild steel and I reckon I could get sorted with a SS close to the same amount.

If you can get a decent SS one, it should last longer. For the IMASAF, these guys seem a bit cheaper:

Not sure if it comes with the hanger rubbers and gasket though.

Carondo is a good company. Have ordered several things from them. Superfast delivery. Recommended

Thanks for the recommendations peeps. Also seen this:

http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/end-silencer/bosal-287-225_g3437_a041287-225.html

Anyone had a Bosal fitted before? I've seen the same one one on eBay for £165!

And whilst I'm on the subject, why do prices for catalysts range from £60 to excess of £300 shocked

I've had Bosal on the coupe before now, but in 22 years I can't recall exactly when or how I felt about it. Whatever I *did* feel, it stayed on till it came off on its own laugh

Had Bosal parts before on the Subaru (plus see their trucks wandering in and out of the Mercedes factory next to us). Their quality was very good.
