Hi my not so trusty Citroen HDI c5 tourer needs to be replaced, I am not sure about what to replace it with after looking around for a while I "think" my best choice is a Honda Accord 2.2 hdi my reasons are cam chain and hopefully honda reliability plus has the extras I want leather/sunroof.Would consider anything really Seat/Audi/BMW 5 series budget 10K. My coupe and MGTF cambelts are due so really would like to avoid another cam belt change in the foreseeable ?

New shape Seat Leon FR diesel is in your price range. The estate version actually looks as good as the hatch IMO.

They do have cambelts, but usually 60-70k miles and not big money.

The 184bhp version is quick. Sunroof is an option. Only downside is they are generally half leather rather than full.

Also consider a Seat Altea XL with the 140 or 170 TDI engine in 6 speed manual or DSG. Far more room than the Leon Estate that cuts your shins off for rear passengers.

The Kia Ceed seems to tick all the boxes could get a newer model with some warranty left. Anybody got any experiences ?

I'd far sooner have the Octavia, but Kia's are better since Hyundai took them over. Prefer the Hyundai i30.
