A very attractive person travelling on the bus, in the middle of the hottest summer since records began, is wearing a pair of wellingtons and suddenly they start badly singing, ''These wellingtons are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do, I've forgotten the lyrics and now I've missed my stop too!''

Response: everyone laughs, the person is regarded as quirky and cool, the bus driver starts reversing through busy traffic so that they can get off at their stop.





Scenario 2

Response: everyone thinks the person is weird, nobody wants to go on that bus ever again, including the bus driver.
