Press Release – 20th anniversary of the Fiat Coupe 30th May – 2nd June 2014

I would like to thank everyone who has contacted us to find out more about this excellent meeting in 2014.
Thank you for making it so worthwhile travelling around to meet so many interesting people. People who will help make this a great event for all participants.
Everyone we have met, no matter what their involvement, has encouraged us to do all we can to make these 3 days truly memorable. We have received nothing but strong, positive feedback.
As the final programme has not yet been decided, (we are still putting the final touches to it) we would like to explain briefly what the participants can expect:
Pininfarina – Lingotto Track – Turin town centre – Reggia di Venaria – Mirafiori Track – Mirafiori Motor Village.
Naturally, as is the tradition, we will be enjoying 4 star hotel, lunches and delicious dinners, a gala dinner and other special activities that are finalised but won’t be revealed until you are at the meeting.
Be prepared for an event which, even with all these goodies, will cost much less than the usual price; we got discounts that only large numbers and international participants make possible.
I would like to thank the sponsors who are cooperating with products, gadgets or other contributions will help us make this event so special.
We would like other sponsors to recognise the importance of the event and advertise their products – they will be highlighted in all communications and logos.
The event will be followed by regional TV and, thanks to Fiat Auto, by RAI Italian Radio and Television Piedmont.
There will also be notices and articles in the Turin newspapers.
During the final day there will be events organised by Mirafiori Motor Village where more participants will join us for the day.
I hope this has given you a taste of what is to come, I will be pleased to answer any individual questions you may have about the meeting.

The guys in Italy really should start taking some deposits. That would give them a better idea of the true numbers wishing to attend. It would also give those of us wishing to attend a some confidence in making plans.

Well its still 6 months away really, so i reckon there is no need to panic yet. I also will be surprised to see if there is 100 coupes there.

If you think about the previous Spa events there has been a maximum of about 63 or so coupes,with the majority being French and uk coupes.

I know for a fact that there have been a few :it's to far: comments on my side of the water.

Best prices can be obtained by booking early and some ticket prices, on some services, have got more expensive.

I'm currently reluctant to book anything because I don't know if I will get an event ticket. I am starting to think flying and taking a rental car will be easier..

But for those of us getting depressed at the high cost making it rather impossible to justify, how about doubling up, with 2 fccuk-ers in one Coupe...and if you trust your friend enough you could share the driving as well as the cost, but you're still talking over £700 each (but it makes the toll route look much better value).

On friday morning me and Ettore (LE Chrono Gray) will meet up near Milano, at 10 of the morning.

Then we will go to Torino, have a pic nic at Superga, and go to Pininfarina at 13.

Is there anyone who want to join us?

I have to leave the hotel on Friday morning to collect Adam from Turin Airport at 10:40. Though I may discover it easier for Adam to take a train to Turin centre, and collect him from there.

But if I can make it, the Lunch idea sounds a fantastic idea before heading for Pininfarina

Jake has never been to Monaco so we're dropping in to visit on or way back which were my reasons for booking a flight to Nice.
I've been a few times, F1 back in 1986 which was simply awesome with the noise. I bet the locals will be happier this year with the new quieter V6 cars.

You must start from Como at 8.30-9.00, to come to Torino without problems
