Bought another after 8 years

Just bought a Coupe that someone didn't make a very good job of. Couldn't resist. Definitely caught the bug again or a midlife crisis.

Yeah, apart from the powder coating. I haven't touched an engine since I sold my last Coupe 8 years ago.

yes, I'm pretty much doing a replica of my old Coupe. Took a while sourcing the wheels, been obsolete for a while now. Was a bit of a bonus getting the plate.

Just realised that was the wrong link. That was a pic of my old Coupe.The one I just bought came with a plate K1oup, lol.

Was that the one based up Glasgow/Central belt way a couple of years ago?

Not sure.I sold mine to someone from Bristol and bought this one from Preston.

Have a feeling it might have been sparkyman's old coop - a chap called Mick had it after that I think and had the engine go on a track day but he was a Fiat mechanic and presumably got it going again

Hovedan bought your old Porto, sold it on a few years later to a women in Bristol, changed hands again but stayed local from memory.

It was a smart car for a Porto with the wheels and Zender kit, no offence Porto owners

No can't get the pictures up. Wouldn't mind knowing the history. The engine wasn't in the best state when i bought the car.

Haha, was going to say didn't think this had any engine work done. It was miss firing when i bought it, down to a coil pack but when I took the plugs out someone had only changed four?

Hey Phil, just seen this.

It was indeed me who bought your old Porto many moons ago. I sold it on a couple of years later as it was too pretty to ruin by tracking. It went over to Essex way for a few months, then came back to Reading way for a few years, then it returned to another owner in Bristol, before exchanging hands further to decoy133 (Doug) on here who has it now.

Unfortunately, she has continually been neglected since leaving me and I believe now in no fit state to be returned to the road anytime soon.

What a shame. A lot of time,effort,money and love went into that car. I was devastated letting it go. All fun though! Could do with the Zender spoiler from it to get this next one in for a paint.
