Two Pluses become one - 10/07/2018 10:03

Just got my Plus back from extensive restoration and upgrades from JBT at Midland Car servicing and what a package!

I purchased the two electric blue pluses back in 2016 "new member post back in Jan 2016" Both were trailered to John for appraisal and a restoration plan formulated to do the best of the pair and pass the other on to someone else.

Just thought i'd slap some pics up of the end result, exceeded my expectations and its a great result in both handling, power and looks.

Extensive parts replacement took place 3 side of A4 invoice to back it all up, will post further details and pics when I've got a little more time.
Some parts include:

Yokohama tyres,
Wheel refurb,
Wheel stud upgrade,
Bushes, bearings, brake pipes, trackrods.
Discs and pads front + Rear (Carbon RS pads) with calipers refurbished,
Wishbones,
BC Racing coilover kit,
Eibach roll bar kit,
Quaife diff,
Stage 3 hybrid turbo,
New radiator and oil cooler,
Pro alloy fmic kit,
Mapping
The list goes on!

Some weldinging to floor plan and front Arch

Full respray and detail.

The handling is out of this world, very impressed with all the work carried out. I would urge anyone thinking of doing the same level of restoration to do it, a full parts refresh makes all the difference. Its almost too nice to take to track. Dreading the first gravel rash outbreak.

Massive thanks to John for the ride, a truly awesome bit of kit!

Hats off to you for taking the plunge (and the same to JBT for the work). It truly is the best looking colour in my opinion, and with those modifications it must be a real treat to drive!

Looks really nice cooldog cool
Might be worth investing in some helicopter film type covering for the frontal areas if you're going to spend a lot of time on track.
