The crank looks to be in the right place but the cams are wrong, I'd be concerned that the engine has suffered damage with bent valves now and I'd remove the cams and run a compression test on each cylinder, if they're is 150psi on each cylinder refit the cam with number 1 cylinder at TDC and use the cam locks, the marks on the pulley wheels won't help, locks and a TDC gauge is the correct method.

I've seen a lot less of these than Joe but agree with him that the cams are out of position relative to one another.
This thread has all the cambelt guides on it.

The cam variator runs in a shell bearing, you're missing the top half.

The shell has locating tags, no holes so they will fit either way, top or bottom.

There isn't really a diagram for that in any of the manuals. Which hoses are you stuck with? If you take a pic of all the ones you aren't sure of we can probably explain where they should go.

Re: How to install timing belt 20v - 10/08/2017 10:31

Gearbox oil is 75w90. It takes 1.75L to top up (via dipstick tube) after draining if you open both drain points, or just the one at the back on the diff.

Unless the car has done super high mileage I wouldn't change the gearbox oil just cause it's 6 years old though.
