how to open drivers side door

I got an issue with my door & wondered if anyone has a trick to open my drivers door when my CL dosnt work and the key wont open it either as there is a prob with the lock mechanism ?
any help appreciated as i cant be climbing through the passenger side every time i need to use it i look stupid going for petrol

Did you check if pulling the handle on the inside will open it? If not, then you got some serious problem inside the door and lock mechanism...

managed to sort it,
Inside handle had the bar come off so thats why inside door handle wouldnt work,
The actual door mechanism was stuck so had to prize the door card back with window down and get a screwdriver in to force lock to open then it opened.... once open i could remover door card completely and attach bar back to inside handle and grease all the mlock mechanism so hopefully this wont cause me a problem again fingers crossed.
