If ive removed the air con and pipework can i remove the compressor and if so what belt do you use?

Yes you can remove the compressor then use contiteck 4 PK 611. When you fit the belt then just put the alternator under a bit of tension then tighten the two bolts/nuts up.

Remember you have to use the water pipe that is fixed to the top of the compressor or make another custom one.

This is a 20vt conversion into an Alfa 155 Chris, I'm guessing that the air con compressor is getting a bit in the way Seb? laugh

haha that's fair enough laugh Just that I was so pissed off when I found the air con had been removed on mine! Could have been worse though. i could have rolled into Halfrauds and asked them to re-gas it laugh

Rad and pipework were removed when the conversion was done. Now its all apart it seemed daft refitting the compressor when its of no use

Have you seen the nightmare ive had Steve? Car currently looks like this

Bought that belt and removed the AC Compressor and the belt works a treat! Cheers!
