If the hazards light all the external indicators, then the issue is either with the switch itself, or the indicator 'relay' which has a timer unit and a couple of relays inside. That's known to break where the tracks meet the pins on the relay body; resoldering usually cures it.

Where can you get the 'owners guide' Fiat Coupe 1995 - 2000 the link to LULU not working

Seems to be working this morning; perhaps Lulu had a glitch? But if that doesn't work, contact Joe (countrycruising) - he has a few in the office.

Doesn't the hazards switch just activate both sides of the indicator relay anyway? So if it's flashing with the hazard switch problem is probably the stalk switch itself or wiring, if everything else is still working OK.

The hazard switch triggers the indicator unit to flash both sides. The break in the track is - I think - one of the control inputs.

It could well be the stalk switch but history suggests that the indicator unit is more likely.

Ah yes, I've had a look at the diagram now and the hazards switch doesn't activate both indicator inputs on the relay simultaneously as I thought, the relay has a separate single input just for the hazards. So the relay has 3 separate inputs - 1 for just left, 1 for just right and 1 for both.

So the problem is very likely the solder joint for the offside indicator input inside the relay.
