Gearchange knackered

I've got the old gearchange issue of the action getting more resistant and now it's broken the plastic housing. I have the replacement housing and know the pain I'll go through to get it in but 2 questions -
Are the needle bearings easy to obtain or is there a good source from here ?
What is the process for lubing / freeing up the linkage on the gearbox end ? I thought there was a post but I don't seem to be able to find it.

A very timely post David. I have the same problem. Steve at Alt Autos didn't know the part number for the needle bearing and referred me to Joe. But it was Joe referred me to Steve lol.

I'm going to order the plastic part today but will need the needle bearings. I intend asking a local garage to fit mine
