Seatbelt latch

My driver's side seatbelt latch has started playing up. If the button is pressed in fully to release the 'male' it gets stuck and needs to be beaten silly to release again.

Anyone else had this? Is it an easy fix or just get a new one?

I sprayed mine with WD40 when it happened to me

I did exactly the same!

It made no difference at the time but it seems a little better today. Might chuck some 3 in 1 in there at the weekend.

You could try some dry lubricants like Teflon. It’s less oily compared to the generic WD40 or 3 in 1.
