Headlight movement. - 09/01/2018 18:26

Before I SORN'd the car I recall that I had movement in one of the lights as I saw the beam against the wall slowly move. I remember reading something about this before but can't recall where now rolleyes Ring any bells with anyone and if so what's the issue and fix please?

It's traditionally a dirty contact strip in the light servo motor. It unclips from the light unit and then separates into to shells; *gently* clean the track where the little wiper lives.

Up/down or side to side? presumably only up/down, and caused by the levelling motor doing its own thing?

Thanks peeps for your prompt response as always smile - and yes it's a slow up/down motion.
