Forge FMDV008 recirculation valve

On recommendation I fitted a Forge FMDV008 to my 20vt as a replacement for the standard bosch one. The car now takes off like a scolded spaniel and I was delighted to note that the rudeboy 'whoosh' i was worried about was totally absent. But ... now im worried that it should make a 'whoosh' and that I have put it in wrong or something ... maybe I should find better things to worry about I guess ... anyone else got one these ? does it make a noise?

If your car has a standard air box and filter you won't get any woosh with that dump valve as it's a recirculating type
