headlight deflectors

I'm thinking of DIY-ing this for France.

Since there is no pattern marked out on the headlight lens will it be a question of shining the lights against a wall and blocking off a portion of the LH-pointing beam?

People are just using masking tape and gaffer tape

eurolites I did look at this a little while ago.

Cheers Brian that's very helpful and it seems in the Eurolite product the Coupe is recognised in "Diagram 4" - not so easy finding that on t'internet though, perhaps unsurprisingly!

Not sure if this info is any use - but the eurolights definetly come with a "map" of where to place them on the Coupe-as I used them on my road trip to Nurburgring

But I cheated...

I didn't put them in the correct spot on the headlights. I off set them a bit As I knew how weak my standard headlights are-I wasn't going to make them any weaker. And knew just how bright most of the modern Audi headlights are that the Europeans drive.

I didn't dazzle anyone with the offset - but had just enough light to cope with oncoming traffic.

People may tut tut - but it ticked the box with the sticker in place- while having a fighting chance on standard headlights.

I used eurolites on my recent Italian road trip. Diagram 4 position worked just fine. They also came off at the end of the 3 week trip without leaving any residue etc

@MM thanks for that...indeed it says diagram 4 but the shape of the lens cover was confusing me....
