Here's a few pics of my baby

- have only had her a couple of months so the styling credit should really go to GringoJimi who kindly let me buy her from him!

Please accept my apologies if the images are too big - I'm still a complete amateur at anything computer related so bear with me!

Sorry Jimbo - still not had the dink sorted!

She needs a deep clean, especially interior after returning from Le Mans where your car gets treated to a dust bath!

Hope you like her - I hadn't been looking for a Portofino, had my heart set on a Scott's Green until I saw her - now it's a love affair for me

Well i've finally got mine all done after owning it for a year.
Had the bonnet totally resprayed, 360 front bumper fitted (from AutoDS), LE side skirts fitted (from Joy tuning) and a new rear bumper fully colour coded (from AutoDS) . Only thing i need to do now is get some meshing for the 360 bumper.

Dont think i posted mine in the last 'show us your motors', but only have a couple of rubbish pics, with a gormless mate sitting inside.

I was going to make a seperate post, but just wondered has anyone sprayed their wing mirrors like mine at all? I personally think they look great sprayed the same colour without the black rubber trim bit. What do you think?

Here's a few of mine. I've only had it a couple of weeks but i've fallen in love with it. The journey to work is always over too soon.

I'll have to get some of the interior on here. The previous owener has put in a custom fit around the gear lever etc. I thought it was standard until i saw a few others and asked where it was!

I was going to start a new thread for this, but I dont think the pictures really justify it. For some reason, my camera was only taking pictures with a 4 second exposure if not using the flash. Not easy to keep your hand steady if you've spent all day polishing to make it this shiny!

As it was a nice weekend I decided to spoil mine and give it the clay bar and detaielr treatrment followed by goldclass wax:

Actually it's full of scratches, swirls and chips

And yes...before you all say it...I do need to sort out the rear valance...but I havn't worked out what I want to do with it yet as Im still waiting to find something I like!!

Hi All

Here is 20vt,

When i first got it

As it is now

It doesn't look bad for 152k IMO.Does have a few parking dents and scuffs, plus the rear valance needs sorting. Its going in for a full respray this week. I'll post some pics when its finished. Thats as long as they don't make a hash of it!!

well, picked my 16vt up about 2 weeks ago, only thing ive got round to doing is the roof scoop and the dump valve hehe

quality of the pics aint too good cause i took them on my girlfriends phone at about 6am one morning.

not sure if i wanna spray it black, paint the brake calipers red and the yellow strip inside red...but hmmm not sure

OK Guys,

After owning the coop for 18 months now, I am finally getting to the stage when I am happy with it (happy being a huge understatement of course).

She's been lowered, bodykitted, touched up, and tuned.... the final piece of the jigsaw was when I finally got the Scorpion Cat-Back fitted last Wednesday. Only thing left to do is post up some pics and show the beast off

Hello all
I've been lurking here for months before making up my mind to buy one of these cars.I do a miniscule mileage every year(2-3K),so I bought a 1999 20vt with a genuine 42,870 miles on the clock.I live in NI,and went over to Scotland to get it.She belonged to a solicitor who had just died aged 72,and he bought it in 1999 as an ex demo from his local dealer.

This other garage bought this,an original Lotus Elan and a motorcycle from his estate.The service book has been lost,BUT I have a folder of receipts for the car for absolutely everything,all old mots and original bill of sale,and I've been told the Fiat dealer will stamp me up a dupe service book for the car.Belts all done,and the only mod is a stainless steel exhaust from the cat back.

Picked her up for £3900 inc 12 month warranty.....and direct line covered her fully comp and protected bonus for £401.I'm well pleased!!

haven't posted on here much yet so i figured i'd best introduce my self and my coop.

ok so I know it's no where near finished but here are some 'work in progress' shots after a bit of a tidy up.

Have new fog lights, badge and grill ordered and should hopefully be going into the paint shop some time in the near future. After that its mostly playing with suspension setup and getting a petrol tank fabricated to fit the spare wheel well. will update when things move on.

Jay 4x4 what a "Gansta" conversion --> I like it !! I have all ways said that the coupe should have been a 4x4 (makes life a little more fun in the rain and snow) - living in switzerland - when we get snow (we get it)

and some pics of my motor now it's been the majority of the work has been done. (alot u won't see (Internal gear)

but the cover has been "re-redded" many layers and lacquer (sweet)

It´s in progress and all messy etc... but a sneak preview still. Has to be painted soon and lowered -40mm tomorrow i think. Turbo GT2860RS 0.86AR already fitted. Will use Gtec2 which is why i´m checking my mailbox twice every morning

My baby's back from another visit to the bodyshop (stonechip on the bonnet the size of your fingernail), I've put new badges on, cleaned the engine bay and given her a polish so it's time to show her off

BTW, the black line across the bonnet on some pics is the reflection of an overhead cable, not a scratch!

Well, finally gave her the first proper "clean" admittedly she's still a little rough around the edges but thats a good thing as it gives me something to keep me busy through the winter (sorting the faded paint etc..)

And now the pics

I spent a good 3 hours with my new orbital polisher trying to correct the paint on the bonnet with G3... I think it paid off tbh

And a cheeky sneak pic of the kit (held on with trusty masking tape LOL), excuse the white crap all over the car, its the dust from the cutting compound

just got my coop! its literally a brand new car with just 200 kms on the clock. part of the last batch exported to malaysia in 2000/2001 and one of the last few available for sale as new.

original colour was Electric Blue, but it's gotten a new "Cool Jazz Blue" paintjob from the new Fiat Bravo. wheels are 5x98 Prodrive 17" from my previous Alfa 156 with a custom hub conversion.

the car's just come out of paint and detailing. this is the last time anyone will see it this clean, i'm sure.

yah the engine bay is completely stock. wait til i start to do some work on it.

i cant right now due to the warranty.

wipers are bosch aerotwins. lovely stuff! looks a lot neater than the old metal frame units, and wipes well too. i got them on the rear as well.

these are the seats i have waiting to go inside the car. leather is custom nappa with CF-look patching. its got a real silver carbon-fibre shell.

i got the car at RM102k, around 14.5k sterling. most of the cost is due to duties and taxes paid. the import price is lower than that i'm sure.

Thanks to some hard work from Matty/MattB and Fran my car now has the much needed lowered suspension!

Hard to really capture on camera but it looks so much better

. The tyres are also still the slightly wrong size so still a bit weird but getting there!

had my coupe since september and so far have fitted grooved discs and uprated pads. boost gauge, debadged the bonnet and pui front bumper

to come is zender skirts and colour code the rear. but all takes time, here she is so far

my coupe 98 20v T - have it 2months

previous owner gave her full respray - i managed to get her her only stone chip bringin her home (murphy's law)

due a timing belt now and she loves petrol, my weekend car but find myself driving nearly all weekend.

lowered with zender kit
has charge cooler, strut brace and i think larger turbo but my wechanic will tell me next week.
let me kno wat u think

Its OK but it take 2 attempts really to buff it off...

interior bits done with carbon fiber, real fiber, not imitation..

newest addon is springs and shocks that lowered it some 3,5cm.. it looks brutal, havent got any new photos :|

Here's my Coupe. It's my first and I've had it for just over two weeks. I've spent plenty of time on the paintwork and also the interior, replacing dash bulbs etc. I desperately need a new drivers seat or a full set in leather though as it's worn through on the side.

My Coupe, before and after respray. Looks pretty identical in the pics, which is a bit pants, but it's either been blindin sunshine here or p%^£ing it down with rain.

Looks a lot better in the flesh though! And no stone chips! And the bonnet is now the same colour as the rest of the car!

Although I'm probably a bit late to the party with this one, bet you're all sick to the back teeth of seeing Coupes!

if you don't mind me asking how much did respray set you back?? Had mine done in summer... went from your colour to electric blue... cost me around £1500... not a perfect job but alot better!

I put a photo of mine on here and got responses saying it would create drag and slow the car down! as someone else has said I just put it on because it looks nice and I like all the above cars with it on.

Having brakes refurbed in electric blue this week with white brembo decals!!
been off road since before xmas and haven't touched the car, to be honest was quite pissed off about the whole injector prob!!
But after cleaning it today i can't wait to get new injectors and fpr in this week and get her on the rollers next sat!!

Well go on then, I'll embarrass myself.

Completely unmolested unmodded example.(and will remain that way for some time as I'm currently running on a budget of £0)

I tried to get the sun glint coming off the badge... missed by about 2 inch, damn!

Engine not very well look after looks wise by previous owners, will rectify that. Started to de-rustificate it, but LOOONNNGGG way to go yet.

Finally finished restoring my ink black 16VT in the sunshine this afternoon.

Will be anxiously awaiting the Post Office opening in the morning so I can get her taxed and hit the road at long last!

Not the greatest shot in the world, but gives at least a vague idea of just how good she looks on the driveway at the minute:

Mine is now back together after its repaint.

Thanks Adam6900 for doing most of the hard work.

The pictures are of the car before it has been polished, ie from the spraygun finish.

It's good having it back to 1 shade of yellow.

Weather was lovely on sunday so when i went home to visit my parents, i left super early to get a clear road and a nice drive. Washed the car and took a few snaps which turned out well, i think

Comments welcome, even ones about the huge exhaust hanging out the back (soon to be replaced with something more befitting!)

Here are afew more pics of the green one, ive added a fair bit
Leather Seats are a must when you have kids so got a good set of them, then thanks to our good friends at autoDS ive added a new Grill, Side Wings and Side Skirts.
Also added 17" Black Alloys and to carry on the Black I changed the side and back lenes

My summer toy!

One owner (Until me) 48K, completely original until I got it, in the last six months it's had bilstens, eibachs, whiteline 22mm rear anti roll bar, full LE body kit, machine polish and paintwork rectification including attention to panel gaps (The bootlid fit still bothers me), replacement bootlid and honeycomb grill, upper strut brace,group buy rear brace and Nigel lower brace,refurbed Brembo's and rear calipers, Brembo sport drilled discs and Pagid pads, braided flexis and new brake backing plates, rear wheel bearings, refurbed wheels (LE gray with new LE centre caps and new bolts), Miltech exhaust, H and S downpipe with sports cat and GTEC1 (Still to be fitted), Hyundai seats, full bluetooth/Ipod/handsfree Pioneer fitted, new droplinks/track rod ends and wishbones, cambelt kit inc water pump and all tensioners, K and N panel filter and all belts/lubricants (inc gearbox and steering fluid), new clutch slave cylinder, genuine Honda start button and chrome rings including speakers,boost guage and sprint blue painted centre console (Inc ashtray and surround) refurbed and painted headlamps with HID's with matching LED sides and rear lamps now red, powder coated battery tray and rad support, repaired exhaust manifold with new studs and nuts etc. Been busy! LE spec rear light cups still to do but that's it!

Should be minty fresh!

I did a proper job of cleaning the Plus last week so decided I better take a photo before it gets mucky again! Funnily enough a bird pooed on it while it was sitting under that tree

It also got new plates stuck on too to replace the tatty old ones.

Gosh yours is an early one - my broomie16vt was reg. in May 1995 and was probably a demo M709 CLM, don't think it's on the road any more.

I thought I'd post up a couple of pics of my coupe, as I haven't put many up to date and the weather here is just so nice it would have been rude not to grab some snaps.

I now need to decide whether to colour code the sills and lower front bumper, or fit the LE kit which I have in storage.

And here's my 20V Turbo, which I have owned for a couple of years now.

....and the picture below shows the very reason why I bought Forza 4 for the Xbox 360. Could not believe that I could download almost my exact car, and take it to tracks around the world (OK, so it's only on the tele, but even so...)

Charged the battery on my coupe, took her for a two hour drive then a wash and some pics before she goes back to being an ornament at the back of the drive

Really have to decide to either try and make time to use her more or sell her

First day I got my hands on her..

After a professional detail..

The bay (not got round to fitting my shiny bits yet)..

Plus (summer) wheels/tyres on..

My most recent pic after an unforgettable drive from carlisle to ullapool via some of Scotlands finest roads..

I'll get round to doing a project thread for this car shortly as it really has came a long way, cosmetically, mechanically and performance wise. Glad we saved the old girl from the scrappy anyway

I'll leave you with 1 more, the porto along side my dad's 2.4 after a good clean..

Almost ready for collection , just rear lights and rear arch liners to be fitted and a good wax and sealing and it's done , should have it back next week .

and as I was having a chat , Sedicivalvole's le came down on the lift after some paint too . looking nice Nick .

It says the pic has been moved or deleted. Upload the picture again. Copy the direct link, open up full reply screen on here, click on the image icon, paste, done

try again, if no good, you can message me, I will send you my email, you email me the pic and then I will do it for you. I would also look at using photo bucket ... it's free too
