Alfa Blue & Me - 09/11/2017 12:36
My Spider's Bluetooth phone link seemed to be working fine, but now if I have a call say lasting more than a couple of minutes, it can suddenly emit a deafening, screeching, buzzing noise from the speakers which remains even if you drop the call.
I imagine it is exactly the same system fitted to a 159 or Brera and possibly other Fiat group cars?
It happens even if I am parked up when taking the call?
The buzzing noise can be turned down by reducing the stereo volume, but remains until you have to leave the car and return to it after a period of it being locked up etc???
The dash and stereo shows the call as continuing even though you have ended it on your handset. You cannot switch to radio, CD or aux when it happens.
Sadly I have not found the alfa forum anything like as good as on here for getting technical info for this sort of thing.
Would a stereo specialist like Sexton's be able to get to the bottom of the problem?
Cheers in anticipation.
