Vauxhall Senator - 29/10/2018 17:31

I spotted a 3.0L Senator for sale on a FB group, reminded me of year gone by where the Senny was all the rage laugh

Link.

PHWOAR!! What a hotty! Grey bolsterless seats love The closest I’ve ever experienced to the relentless, time warp acceleration that only the sEn can offer was when I blagged a ride in a Hawk at RAF Valley. Even that can’t hold a torch to the majesty of an old sEn at full chat. I belive this model was a reference point for the original Mclaren F1. They came so close.

I’d make an offer of 2k and take it to Flea who would have to strap it down to the dyno with Spider man’s own wrist jizz. They comfortably see over 1500 BHP with a K+N filter and Peco back box. Woof!

Kent Po Po used the Senator's as ARVs and Traffic; they looked the mutts...also had an unmarked full body kitted Cavalier 2000GSI.

Would love a Lotus Carlton!

I think you will find that Flea would NOT be able to strap it down even with a bucket of Spider jizz.

The Senator cannot be contained.

Aye, so did a few constabularies, you can tell which ones by the number of old cops who have bad backs after sitting in the sEn for more than an hour! OUCH! Almost as bad as the Octavia vRS for back ache.

Although the stand out one was the Scooby WRX, unmarked, tried to get out to speak with an errant driver and suddenly discovered I could hardly walk! laugh
Looks really bad when you stagger towards the driver to ask him if he'd been drinking! laugh

sEn was okay, but the fog of time plays tricks with the brain. We used to say "aye, it can pass anything except a fuel pump!" at one point the management thought we were stealing the fuel for our own cars. Until they drove the sEn and watched the fuel guage!

I suggested that instead of the fuel guage being marked Full, half, reserve, it should have been marked with Pounds, shillings and pence! laugh

Whaddya mean I don't look old enough to remember pre-decimal coins? Why thank you! blush

Aye right! laugh

Come on, spill the beans, Pinin, what bit of trouble do you want me to get you out of this time? laugh

I used to chuckle so much when Shabba would start raving about the sENNY, with its Rhino-Raped seats, remember that one? laugh

Trust me, it may have been that to cut corners we were given poverty spec seats, but there were times when I'd rather have taken a kicking than sit in there for too long, i.e any longer than half an hour!

But to be fair, the WRX was far, far, far worse!

Daft thing is, it hasn't stopped me looking at them for my next Project Car...... crazy

The blues were always switched off going up Bluebell Hill, Kent on a shout in the Disco's, to save the humiliation and embarrassment.
