Yokohama Advan AD08R. They are semi slicks with a B set rating and very good life. Tappy recorded 15k before changing them. Mine have done about 4K and still going strong.

Are they good as good in the wet like the rating ? What are they like in the dry ?

They are excellent in the dry they made my Coupe more responsive to steering input. It’s hard to put it into words but a decent improvement.

I must admit I don’t push it in the wet but they are at least as good as the Toyo T1Rs I had before, albeit the Toyos are a much older design.

Did you notice any difference in road noise Gunzi with the Yoko's?

I had a set of AD08s on mine and they are noisier than some tyres but not as bad as others I've had. They make the ride slightly harsher because the sidewalls are very stiff.

I have bilstein and eibach combo with fast road engine mounts and a stainless cat back so it’s honestly hard to judge!

When they were fitted, Roger and Liam were lauging at how stiff the sidewalls are. I doubt the pressure you run them with makes a geat deal of difference rofl

They are very good in the wet in my experience. The set I had that did 15k miles went through two winters without issue.

They are bloody lethal when brand new and at around zero degrees in the damp though! shocked Drive carefully for the first few hundred miles or so to ensure the coating has cleared driving

Cheers Andy and all for feedback...like everyone looking for the best choices...and R16 is so limited.
