I have just spoken to the organisers.

Unfortunately they are unable to offer us more than the 20 club spaces we already have.

Any one else who wants to take their coupe there will have to try for one of the individual entry tickets.

Are there any suggested hotels so I can book,
Last year members went down night before,I want to do that this time.
It was a bit much all that driving in one day.

The club has hired one of the Brabham Stewart Suites for 25 Club Members and their guests exclusive use for the whole day.

Those who went last year will recall that they overlook the main straight and are weatherproof.

Thats a nice touch Pete . I'll bring some milk/tea/coffee/sugar this time so we can have tea/coffee but you may want to bring you own mugs .

Further to the recent announcement about the FCCUK AGM taking place at this event, I am offering up my reserved place (1 of 20) since I have booked a family holiday leaving the day before, so I can't attend

However, I'm hoping that my loss will be someone else's gain? I'm not sure how/if I can transfer the reservation, but I have asked the organiser, so watch this space...

I'm also on holiday and therefore my place is also up for grabs folks (17 above) so please let myself and Pete know ASAP and message the organisers with your own car details to avoid any confusion on the day.

I did message Kieron (yellow peril) as I offered him my place last weekend but had not reply from him yet.......

Shame that the organisers aren't offering "track taster" sessions (15 mins for £25-£35) like they are offering at Deutsche Fest the following weekend, maybe the Festival Italia event needs to grow a bit more?

My ticket arrived today. I got my 3 passenger tickets on line using print at home so have a full set now. I notice they've moved the parade lap to be after the last race this year.

It is worth noting that the gates open for display vehicles at 7:00am and we must be in the entry queue by 9:00 am.

I have applied to Brands Hatch to be in the display section but don't know if I will be accepted if the club area is full? I might just come and park in the normal car park. Last time my friend who was going to accompany me cancelled at the 11th hour so this time I think I will just plan to come by myself. I have not been anywhere exciting for aaaaages and I feel like a bit of getting out of town and a 2-hour run in the Coupe will be just right. Must check the oil ...

No, passengers have to pay, too, unless you can convince the organisers that they're under twelve; and even so, require a ticket.

The day was really pleasant, great weather and the AGM lead to some good and sensible decisions.

I said that I would start looking at the overall flow of the Forum site and isolated Membership section and various disconnects. I will propose a solution to overcome the Photobucket issue re annual license cost quoted of $400 p.a. Once I have had time to review all I will provide a Test link to the Board members for feedback.

After a very long hiatus and a venture into the Renault Sport fold, I popped over to Brands Hatch yesterday seeing as it was such lovely weather.
I was very excited to see the club stand there, and it was good to finally meet 'Uncle Neil' and one other (sorry, I didn't ask your name, so rude!). I was going to say hi to the rest of you, but had to take a call and then grab food as the OH was getting hangry!
Really good to see such a turnout for what is a rare car on the roads nowadays, and so glad to see this forum has plenty of life in it yet!
