An Italian car themed day set up between Alfabook and other Italian car and bike groups we are bringing you a FREE car show here in Scotland!

We want all involved under one banner to enjoy a fantastic day with amazing cars. An event to put in the diary let’s have a great day with a fantastic backdrop. Along side the great motoring museum that we can all view on the day.

Please also help the Museum where possible as they only ask for donations, even buying a coffee will be much appreciated.

Re: Riverside Italiano 15th July 2018 Riverside museum - 03/06/2018 22:36

Is there anything we need to do (as a club) or is it just "turn up"?

Re: Riverside Italiano 15th July 2018 Riverside museum - 04/06/2018 19:39

It is a case of just turn up but we need to see cars at the front getting there for a certain time, so we will let you know the time as he wants you at the front too.
Cheers.
Russ.
P.S. I've been asking him if needs any help as he lives round the corner from me, so as soon as i know I will post it up.

Thought I'd try to do a wee reckie for finding a good place for the coupes to meet up before heading for the museum.

That's a good idea-

Brian; did I tell you Dianne & Paul are going to try and make it down for this..?!

(i did tell you, didn't I)

Re: Riverside Italiano 15th July 2018 Riverside museum - 18/06/2018 12:52

Yep Jim got it. That be great if Diane and Paul can make the trip down.

I've enquired as to spaces and we can have 15-20.

Re: Riverside Italiano 15th July 2018 Riverside museum - 18/06/2018 15:00

lets ask for 20; then we can park sort of sideways, diagonally

with tonnes of space in-between!

yeah- it's not just us, the Coupe community, and the wider Italian-car family you've let down...

It's yourself too...

I've always disliked that avatar

however- shoot me 1st; that's the car facing a significant outlay for the MOT

the kind of outlay you could buy another car for.

Sorry lads; as they say on Dragon's Den;

"I'm out..."

Re: Riverside Italiano 15th July 2018 Riverside museum - 06/07/2018 17:44

Hi all, got an update on the Alfa site re the meet. It states,
"Cars can arrive from 9am but need to be in and set up for 11am at the latest before the museum opens to the public. If leaving early before the museum closes at 5pm, you must be accompanied out slowly for safety reasons. As always at these events, please keep the area tidy and where possible give a donation to the museum for letting the event take place."
I hope this helps and I will see you there.
Cheers.
Russ.

A little late but a Great day out at the Riverside Italiano on the Glasgow Clydeside at the weekend.

Good see some new faces and old and just as important as the cars. Also good to get both the coupe and Abarth 500 there thanks to my designated driver... I think the missus secretly enjoys driving the 500.

A big thanks to everyone who made and to the organiser and here's to the next one.

Ditto. As well as a great selection of cars, including some very tasty Lancias; Fulvia, Beta, Integrale etc. it was good to catch up with Steamer after a few years away from coupe ownership.

Excellent venue, no soggy grass or ankle deep in mud, I'll definitely be making the trip again.

Great photos Brian
