pinin_prestatyn OP Forum veteran Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 19,947 North wales	So, I miss the turbocharged kick, the (crap) leather seats, I miss working Gliptone into a heavily worn driver's bolster and stepping into her the day after, her skin smelling of cheap promises of new leather. I miss the "ssssshhhh-Tisch" that even the most basic 20VT fitted with a cheap Baileys Dump valve can provide. I was outside a nightclub at 11pm tonight as a Mallard Green Escort Cosworth screamed past, the driver waited in second until he was at 6K rpm and let off the throttle to give the largest hydraulic brake sounding "TISCH" and the group behind me said "has that saddo got nothing better to do on a friday night?" I just miss the turbo kicking in. I miss the glance back EVERY time you leave the car. I miss the comments. Heck - I even miss the paranoia! But most of all, I miss the meets - Cowboy, Taffy, Dave. I miss pushing the sponge (and that's what it is) either side of the bonnet, no matter if you drive one in Oman, I bet the black sponge either side of the bonnet is always full of rain water! I miss geniunely being interested in the MPG posts (and I never thought I'd say that) and I Miss the rush in second gear (you may rave about third, but there's really nothing to prepare you for second gear in a mildly modded coupé, especially when your previous car was a 160BHP Astra GSi. Anyway, You'd never have guessed, but I want a coop! and my recent salary increase have got me looking at the classifieds. You can get a LOT of coupe now for not much money! Anyway, My name is Matt Baker and I have an addiction to coupé. (sits down to applause from CAA (Coupé addicts anonymous) PS I miss the forum most of all. Does this strike a chord with you serial coopers? Coopless!

bikenut55 Unregistered B	It's a good car; fairly quick, comfortable, build quality is excellent, handles well, the recaro seats are lovely plus it's done 120,000 miles and still drives like new. It just doesn't have that Coupe 'charm' and character which is why I want another one.

I can just about remember posting something on Fccuk last night - Blame the Club for that (it's a tenner for all you can drink) However it's probably my finest drunk post! certainly I've done a LOT worse. I guess they say you speak the truth when you've had a drink, I certainly would like another. It wouldn't be for at least six months, but Who knows? I gotta have one more before I get all boring and start doing mortgages, kids etc Coopless!

Ive been selling off all my worldly possessions off to get one back!
