I will be visiting one of the 2 days as I live not too far - which of the 2 days are best?

I dont think there's any best day to be honest, although I haven't been before, so don't know.

Maybe Saturday, if you want to see all the cars performing?

If they damage the car or crash out, they may go home, so you wouldn't see them Sunday.

Do you want to show on the stand with us spookone or are you just going as a spectator?

I will be dragging my wife and kids along so it will be a bit of a family day out - so more of a spectator, having said that I would be happy to park it with the other coupes and say hello to you all and have a little nosey at your coupes :-)

Whats involved - I will of course make sure it is very clean and shiny - it is in very good condition anyway, but dont have any experience in "showing".

Ps due to prior arrangements I will be coming on Sunday

You would be welcome to park with the other Coupes

We're not fussy on the Coupe stand, as long as you turn up, then dirty or clean, etc is up to you.

Some owners park up and start polishing their Coupe, others, like me just park it and leave it, or get someone else to polish it for me

Just remember, the Coupe is an old car, none of us expect it to be mint and not many are perfect.

All we do, is park up wherever we are told to, settle in, have a chat and a wander. Come back, have a chat, go home

We are meeting at niffs house first and then leaving his at about 8.45am.

If you don't want to do that because of the family, then we have to be on site by 10am.

I should know more details, about which entrance we have to go through, when I receive the tickets.

Only a week to go for this now

I just hope the weather is ok and not like it is in Wrexham at the moment

Anyway, all tickets have been received by me now.

There are different car club entrances and I'll be getting an email through in the next few days, informing me of which entrance to use.

To anyone coming along, make a note on how to get to the correct entrance, as apparantly it's a 4 mile trip through Baslow, to get to the other entrance.

They are special car club entrances and if you are late, there will be no access to the car club area after 10am.

Pleased be warned, don't be late!!

From the looks of things i will only be going on the Sunday but that is a definate 100%.
I will try my best for saturday but depends what time im back from Scotland.
Will meet on Sunday at Niffs house,so save me some bacon.
Wont be using my coupe as oil pressure is a concern but may have to borrow one.

By the sounds of it im going to have to get a pig in for all these buttys lol.

Lets hope there are no vegiterians as salad is not in my vocab lol.

if i remember correctly gate 2 is the closest gate coming from my place so if im right we should miss a fair bit of the traffic.

Ah tidy, I was thinking it might be miles from your place, as Gate 2 is for Manchester/Sheffield and Gate 1 is for Chesterfield/M1.

I'm relying on you niff to do the manly thing and take over the directions for this, as I haven't a clue

the golden gates are the first entrance i pass coming from my place, there just off a roundabout and this roundabout has turn offs for chesterfield/ sheffield and manchester.

You then have to go threw baslow for a good few miles to get to the other entrances, the golden gates are the closest entrance to my place but the other entrances have much better driving roads lol.

its deffiantly the right gates, it takes me if im driving very steady 15 mins to get to the golden gates from my house

just been on a reccy as i was bored.

It took 22mins to get to the golden gates entrance from my house, including a stop off for fuel.

The golden gates entrance is the closest to me like i thought it was.

I was taking it fairly steady too, sticking to the speed limits.
