I think someone needs to get in touch with Top Gear somehow, e-mail or letter, anything. Its like they have forgotten this car.
They have done one rubbish episode with it and thats it.

When you think for the money the power and styling you get and when it was first produced it was the fastest and most powerful production car in the world, im sure they could do some sort of challenge with it, like the 'whatever car for under a few grand' challenge.

Now they had 150 places in a book for great Italian cars and its not in there.

I dunno......

Its a simple case of the Lancia Integrale being the Top Gear 'old skool' car of choice

I say let the forum president approach both Top Gear and Fifth Gear

Coop has lost its value, reputation and status IMO.. but do i care? err no!

That might be a bit of a stretch! Sure the 20vT was/is, but the 16v... I'm not so sure wink

Top gear magazine is PANTS so wouldn't care what they said anyway.

Tbh all the car magazines/ shows ignore the coupe if there doing features on coupes etc for 2-3k always seem to go for a corrado 200sx etc think the only praise we had had is on the used car roadshow when it featured the sprinty,I'd love another one but the running costs petrol and insurance alone are getting silly

I think last nights top gear was really good!
They didnt do any blowing things up and setting fire to stuff, it was all about cars, still with abit of humour in there.

I'd agree- who wouldn't want to drive at full pelt around Monaco in a hot hatch?
I was surprised that the Clio cup couldn't keep up with the others.

I lost interest in Top Gear magazine/ What Car etc. years ago. Classic & Sportscar is the one to get.

I wish I'd read this before buying it today.

This is a rubbish supplement to the Top Gear magazine. The 150 top italian cars and no Fiat Coupe. OK there's been plenty of great Italians in the past but how on earth did the Pagani Zonda get mentioned twice when its an Argentine (I guess an Italian designed it, or its built in Italy).

The only saving grace to this article is the Red Fiat Panda (page 33). Had one of these a few years back. Ex Jersey rental car with twin canvas sunroofs. Great fun car to drive and the cheapest motoring I've ever achieved. How I managed to tame the 34hp on tap in that red monster I'll never know.

Hate to say it but if that Alfa Romeo 4C on the last page is £40K new then I know what I'll be replacing the Coupe with in 10 years time. Used 4C for £2K to £3K anyone.

pardon?not now or ever has that been a true statement,i can think of at least 5 cars off the top of my head faster and more powerful from the same era, even more if you take away electronic limiters to the top end.

Calm down Calm down! snowman

I think the words "front wheel drive" were missing from the statement.
