Thought this thread would be a good place to put cars that you might spot that need mentioning.

Just the other day i clocked an RS200 on the back of a lorry. first one i've ever seen.

Last week i saw a couple of cops in a fully marked police Lancer Evo 8/9. Sod that coming after ya!

Yesterday i saw something that needs mentioning. A Ford F350 pick-up truck. Now this thing is fccuking huge to start with, but the guy has fitted enormous, 2 foot flared arches to the rear of it and added a couple of double tyres. all in, it was at least double the width of an old escort cabriolet that was next to it at the lights. It really was the most horrendous thing i've ever seen...

F****** b****** thing...

Was the F350 like this?
If so, that's fairly standard.

RS200 yesterday! In a petrol station near me, I vaguely kow the guy who owns it. I filled the bike up as he was filling, had the rear open as the tank is under there. Bet that was hot to drive round in yesterday's weather though. He also has an Escort Cosworth reputed to be running around 800bhp. He's not a youngster, probably in his 40s, likes his cars, so the 800bhp story could well be true.

I also saw an Auburn Speedster last week which I think was genuine too.

Great idea for a thread, btw!

Ah, sorry, but will have to disqualify that entry on the grounds of this thread

Fully kitted Dodge Viper (huge spoiler etc) on the M25 on Sunday - Grey with white viper stripes and white racing decals. Clearly he would have tasted third gear humiliation had he not been travelling on the opposite carriageway

I also worked out that the coop was less common than the Ferrari 430 Spider, having seen 2 in a 3 hour drive, and no coops.

Yep, sounds standard enough - those things are huge, 7.3l turbo diesels IIRC with about a gazillion lb/ft. They are the farmers weapon of choice around here - I've even seen one pulling an unloaded HGV low-loader trailer.

Ah well maybe I've been misinformed then. I did get the info second-hand. I used to live about 100yds from the guy, it's a blue Cosworth, reg something like K*** DWN. He has his own butcher's business. His name's Will or William, can't recall his surname. I saw him with both cars yesterday, although it's possible he's sold the Escort on now as someone else was driving it whilst he was driving the RS.

I've seen a couple of 599's in the last week - they look pretty inconspicuous.

I saw this the other day

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h288/freakinfreaky/CoopStuff/SlingBladeFerrari.jpg

Saw it in St John's Wood High Street amongst a street load of 430's, Vanquish's and suchlike which makes me think its a little more than a piece of bad badgemanship.

I don't expect this link to work - bit of a new thang for me

There are 2 around where I live...one silver, one purple with yellow chequered flag patter (is foul)...see them quite often - still turn me head each time!

There is an American car enthusiast who lives not too far from me who has some mad machines...got some dull looking 70s box on the drive at the moment, but had a (rubbish version) Mustang there a while back...and always has a huge great big 50s Chevrolet Bel Air (or something like that) on the drive too...saw it driving along the other day - utterly mad.

also, on a side matter:

how do you get a nice short linky dink rather than the newbie rubbish I've got displaying. I thought I could just write over the url, but all I got was a dead link.

Common as muck, try spotting a coop within half a mile of me!!!!!!

I have never ever seen an Enzo on the road, does that mean I live somewhere very exclusive where these common cars can't get to?

Nowt but Veyron's round here
