Wow what a day. Hot, but really good fun. Put my VIS through its paces and my tyres look like marshmallows.

Good to meet Liam and to see Alex again this time in the "master blaster" Ibiza diesel putting out 220bhp and enough black smoke screen to make James Bond jealous.

Liam, your 20VT is rapid mate. Nice in the corners too.

Yep she performed well considering the stock suspension. Though the rear did squirm into the fast corners at times which was interesting.

I had new brake fluid and new rear pads before the day. At one point the front brakes were smoking and the tyres are all blistered. The new fluid was EBC high temp stuff so al good.

You tempted ?

Are you running stock pads?
I have Mtec drilled discs and standard pads and they are useless after 2 or 3 big stops!

Well, I am in an NA, not a turbo....

So yes, stock pads..

I probably could have driven harder and braked harder, but I didn't want to overdo it.
