Car Clubs need to be booked in to get a stand. If anyone would like to download the form and get attendees names and vehicle details, then the Club can be booked in and get a stand.

I go to this most years as its local. Theres a 'Rally' of participating cars pre-entered around the Warwickshire countryside before returning to Stoneleigh which I was on a couple of years ago. MC Mikes back on it again this year in his Stag. If my X1/9 gets back on the road in time I'll be on it again as well - though even if not I'll probably be at Stoneleigh on the Sunday for a look around. Quentin Wilson is usually there in his SLS...

Same weekend as Wings and Wheels too, otherwise I would probably have gone.

Wings and Wheels is a little too far for me to do this year, so quite fancy this event.

Happy to take the lead if no one else would rather, so have started a list for attendees below (will also need to know if anyone wants to do the vehicle rally as it requests this info on the booking form):

Guys the rally is pre-entered via the website T linked above but tends to be for older cars. As T mentioned though you can pitch for an area within Stoneleigh for a club 'park.' I'll be there on one of the days:

I'll be there probably on the Sunday Mark.
Having an allocated club stand would be good as it gets you in to the actual display area. Otherwise you're in the general public car park.

Car club passes and BOGOF Stoneleigh Abbey tickets are in the post

The info sheet states entry to Stoneleigh Park will be through the main gate, which will be open at 0900. Visitors will be allowed in from 1000.

Arrived late to this Saturday lunchtime but just in time to meet Mark Weather was varied but still a few good things to see. The main event for this one is Sunday for the run which I couldn't make this time, but enjoyable all the same. Sorry if we missed you Loui.....

Highlight for me was seeing this:


David Brown Speedback. Yours sir for £495,000. It was actually shown by Premier Group Engineering who do the Bodywork - as a Coventry lad it was terrific to see a new Coventry built car built by Coventry skilled engineers once more. And the lads on the stand were superb - no fenced off roping - they showed me all around the car and let me sit in and fire up! Probably the most expensive vehicle I've sat in and it was sat on its own in the corner of 'shed' - one of only a handful of finished vehicles in the world!
