Bimbling about the sky in Andalucia. Two flights today for an hour and a half, up to six thousand feet, and a nice gentle flight in the evening. One chap bent himself taking off, but he wasn't me.

The garlic and tomato on toast I had for breakfast will keep them away.

Two and a quarter hours in two flights today; one quite thermic and boisterous and the last one a nice gentle but very technical bimble as the sun set.

Now I are back... last flight, stepped off the mountain into a 12 foot/second thermal straight up to 5,800ft (cold!) and then a cross country 15km... very happy bunny.

As a 15 year-old I once spent 40 minutes soaring in an open cockpit glider in shirtsleeves at 5000 feet just below cloudbase. My first flight in a Slingsby T21b
And a yellow one.

That was really bloody cold.

That was during the school summer holiday flying from what was Marshall'a aerodrome (now Cambridge International Airport)
25c on the ground, probably 10c under the cloud and a 45knot wind.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
