Spotted a Spyker in Maidenhead town centre last weekend! Very noisy, but very ugly with all that bling everywhere!

Last week i saw a couple of cops in a fully marked police Lancer Evo 8/9. Sod that coming after ya!

Yesterday i saw something that needs mentioning. A Ford F350 pick-up truck. Now this thing is censored huge to start with, but the guy has fitted enormous, 2 foot flared arches to the rear of it and added a couple of double tyres. all in, it was at least double the width of an old escort cabriolet that was next to it at the lights. It really was the most horrendous thing i've ever seen... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I've gone full circle, over three years after starting this thread; I spotted another Ford F350! Just as horrible to see as it was the first tiem around sick

Saw a Mk 1 Granada/Consul Estate last week. While I remember the Mk 2 Granada Estate being as common as hell, my sister-in-law even had one, not sure I even remember the Mk 1 being made as an estate. Certainly don't recall having seen one before

Other recent spots I forgot to post up include the Roush Mustang

I saw a red mk2 RS2000 escort lose the back end round a very wet roundabout towards Kendal the other day, looked good and dont think i've actually seen one on the road apart from on the way to an RS show or similar, pretty rare.

Spotted: Lancia Aurelia B24, actual show car chassis number 001. Top restored condition worth a few 100.000's. Also on the same spot a Lancia Aurelia B20. And on the same spot a Mercedes 300SL (convertible).

These are actually owned by a newly discovered family member. Guess I'll have to start going to family parties more often.

love

Some great photo's there mate!

Looks like perfect scenery for it aswell. Shame you dont see more day-to day classic escorts, suppose they are worth so much now even a stone chip reduces the value on them, which is a shame, a nice sight on our roads esp if driven with a bit of commitment hehe

Yes, lots of these cars are absolutely mint condition but its' refreshing to see they're not afraid to take them out and drive them as intended. cool And the two chaps who organised that particular meet are RS Escort owning North Wales police!

For a bit of rare car spotting today, the Renault Alpine club are having a small pub gathering this afternoon at Headless Woman on the A51 near Tarporley. Anyone in the area today might catch an old French plastic wedge or two smoking along! laugh

Followed a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo in dark metallic blue today, forgot how ugly they were, but a rare spot regardless and ugly or not, I actually quite like them, one for the "if I win the lottery" collection!

Mercedes G Wagon convertible - think giant sized Vitara! Always wanted one of these when I had a "normal" G Wagen but rare as rocking horse droppings and never sold in the UK

Also saw a Citroen GS today near Rockingham, thought they were all long gone

There a stunning Pearl White Murciélago LP640 with a black stripe down the middle - Black wheels with huge yellow calipers inside the Touchwood shopping centre Solihull. Promo for one of those Drivers Track Day places. Stunning with Black and Yellow seats..........Absolutely glorious. Annoyed the Mrs for 10 minutes delaying her Xmas shopping.

Saturday, white Veyron - driving into Sutton.

A bit disappointing looking in the flesh - not a good colour for it.
