Given that they would like us there between 8:30 and 9:30 and it's no more than 5-10 minutes up the road I suggest we aim to leave Pye Towers at 8:45 sharp and all are welcome for a cuppa from say 8:00 am? Any earlier and you'll be helping me polish Thunderbox!

I'll send a PM with my details to all those on the list (perhaps you could redirect to the Facebook member Gunzi?).

I've PM 'd everyone on the list and had responses from almost everyone. We're off on our hols tomorrow so out of contact but assume that the formal logistics are in hand for all the entrants etc?

Now we're back from holiday, I'm just enquiring if we're booked with the organisers for this. If not what do we need to do?
Breakfast at Pye Towers is still on offer and we're looking forward to it!

It's all booked in with the organisers Chris, I have the formal paperwork which I'll bring down with me.

I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Hi

It was a pleasure to meet you all on Sunday for this show. Despite being an 'owner' for a few years now [VERY looong story] it was my first and hopefully my first of many meets with the club. I didn't really expect to be in it myself - but I had cleaned the car 'just in case' the day before! rotate

It seems Photobucket aren't the friendly peeps they may have been in the past so I had to edit the post and upload to a new host to get the pics in...

Yes, that IS Chris Eubank's old Peterbilt truck, that he used to drive "trailorless" around Brighton and London in the foreground..

A 7th coop arrived a little later and swelled our ranks..

So many lovely cars but other than Coops [obviously], my personal favourite car at the show was this 1937 Ford Roadster

Hopefully I've done it right this time so the 'pops' all work as they should.

Cheers

Nice pictures Steve and good to meet you

Also, many thanks to Chris and Jean for their early morning hospitality!

My apologies. What with all the image hosting frustration I clean forgot.

Chris & Jean, Nice to meet you both and I certainly echo the thanks for your hospitality on the day.

Cheers

Thanks to Rich007 for suggesting the show, nice to see all and the weather was in the end, kind. Good location by the beach, nice for me and Skulkin to be close to home too.

But oh my God the noise from all those sound systems!!! Maybe not a repeat performance for an old timer/ boring old f**t like me next year?!

Good to see those Aston Martins, particularly the DB3 and DB5 ( ex Paul McCartney).

Have your ears stopped bleeding yet Chris?

That bugger in the black thing just smiled when I told him that people were in pain from the noise.
Still, I bet he's deaf within the year.

Sounds like what happened to my favourite monthly Ace Cafe meet - overrun by noisy buggers who thought it was more fun to wheelspin and race between roundabouts too whilst making more noise with their cars than some concerts at Wembley
